Evans might be the worst player to ever wear our jumper.

He looks barely vfl standard. I think I see better small forwards running around here in pub league on satdee arvys.

Fk me

Yikes, we will be 3-8 by the Bye...
Team confidence will be crushed by then, won't make finals...
TDK goes end of year...

I have no issue with Lord and Camporeale getting a full game in the twos.

From the look of the bench Evans or Haynes are the likely sub.

We probably need Haynes to fill the hole in front of Darcy - or is that Darcy will make a hole to put our entire defence in.

Evans..... We don't have a mosquito fleet, we have a bumblebee fleet ...

I guess we can put a line through moir and Binns then too

Let's not try anything different now....

There is simply no depth on our list

Picking Evans is a sign of things to come

Maybe not this year, but we are headed to bottom 4 territory over the next few years

Let’s hope Jagga Smith and Cody Walker become superstars as our current young players are probably the worst in the league.

Kemp Gov Cowan Fog Motlop need to step it up or else they will be overtaken by subs listed and those returning from injury Fantasia, Hollands, McKay, Hollands

Not surprised with the outs.

Lucas has been subbed out 2 games and Lord has been sub so time to sharpen their sword with 4 quarter game vs
Footscray. Will be good for Lucas to join his brother on field in Navy Blue .

Have a look at subs above. The cupboard is bare. Expected a small forward dominated forwardline with Harry out and Charlie finding his rhythm. Would’ve preferred White as a small forward but hey it’s the bloke who played 17 games, including finals and had a good preseason.

No need to lose your shit over a sub,

What are we going to do to win this? That’s more important tha;flying the white flag.

It’s a 50-50 game. We are a chance. A few players need to step up and give us their best…Gov, Kemp, Motlop, Fogarty, Haynes … and Evans when he comes on replacing one of the 3 smalls Motlop Fogarty Williams . Glad to see Cottrell on a wing coz he will press forward too,

I can see Gov going forward if Kemp puts in another weak performance, Haynes taking the intercept role and Young chopping out in the ruck. I’m sure Youngbwill be swung onto Darcy but wouldn’t it be a revelation if Young plays what he’s born to do, the intercept. He’s a great high mark when he’s confident and in that role he may support SOS playing one on one with Darcy due to his strength then Young leaving his man to come over the top with knees fist or knees and mark. He’s not the type to use the knees

Win the hard ball, and players to present in space to link up…then keep running spreading and connecting. Expecting less bombing coz if we bomb it blindly and we lose Vossy will cop heaps from media and fans who have already given up.

Come on TDK. Don’t let English take you space. If English does try take his space, he’s not nimble whereas as TDK is to move around him and tap forward and rive his ball as an extra mid / loose mid, No doubt TDK will bomb coz he’s usually in open space when he does that.

Walsh will be my BOG. Fingers crossed. 2 goals from him would be handy and another couple from Cerra and Crippa and mids have done their bit.

About time smalls played 4 quarters and convert goals…. Something none have done this year. None of them.

Go Blues. Can’t wait.

On the flip side, there’s 14 players out of ciontract and half will be chopped relieving us of much salary cap and I put my money that we will see what Austin has been cooking for last 2 years.

$2.5M opens up in cap space and we will get some holes filled, let alone unveiling Smith. Hopefully TDK stays like Callaghan did at GWS with same offer. TDK was 2nd choice. Of the $2,5M plus approx $2M if Austin has been banking 5% for last 3 years, TDK takes up only $300k of that being the increase from $800K to $1.1M.

I don’t think Austin is the fool those outside the 4 walls think he is. Plus we didn’t expect to be suffering from injuries we have to Cincotta, followed by Newman, followed by Smith, the Charlie, Pitto, Durdin and mental health issues affecting Harry and Elijah. No one. Did I mention Walshys hammy?

When most are back, we are back coz we don’t bat deep …. This year

We would have depth if we had development.

Why won't voss take a risk and try a kid? Why does he have to wait until an injury crisis?

What have they got to lose by playing Moir or Binns if they are ready or not we won’t know until Voss gives them a crack
Watching Evan’s play last week he ‘s Game was no better then Moir or Binns
Sooner we get rid of Voss the better of we will be

I have no words with this weeks selections.
One of the bravest players of the modern era, consistently making conservative choices.
Mind boggling.

I didn't like Evans' game against the Tiges one bit. He gave away too many frees

But it was just 1 game. Can't write a player off after 1 game. Maybe being the sub will suit him

I've got nuthin'

We missed Evans last week...

Huh?

I like Boyd in and can only imagine Lord and Lucas are struggling to run out games...

Evans more match hardened? Is he quick?Who knows?... Are we expecting crash and bash anyway? Wouldn't have thought so.....
I guess we'll see if Charlie can at least bring it down AND small forwards can crumb

I'm starting to warm to Carlton as dogs side on paper aint that great. My concern is the old chestnut of a clogged forward line and then a slingshot to a one out Darcy.
