OMG, what was Blacres doing so deep in fwd line at the end, it was like he was hiding behind the point post. And to squeeze it through goals like he was kicking a penalty shot with a goal keeper. OMFG!!!!!

There is a god, & he barracks for Carlton.

I can not tell a lie. 5 mins into the 3rd quarter, Mrs Caz says..............."It's you or me!".................to leave the TV room.

So I left and went and lay on the bed with my headphones listening to the soothing sounds of Londan Grammar. I'm not proud of myself, but I was serene and most importantly, the TV was not broken.

At the end she came in and was highly agitated   She told me the result and I am all the better for it :donk: :donk: :donk: :thanks:

Go Blues.

I have completely ignored both finals until the result is known. I can't deal with it live. So both weeks I head off for a surf at URBNsurf then sit in the garden office watching docos until 10.40pm when I get the scores. Then up til 2am watching the replay only 2/3rds as nervous as I would be watching live.

This is ridiculous and totally sensational!

SEVEN DIFFERENT BROADCAST VERSIONS of the best Carlton 3 minutes in 24 years!

Well done Kouta - saved Forever as a permanent bookmark on all my stuff!

I reckon there’d be a few blokes dodging Steven May’s dinner invites for the next few months.

Pathetic club.

I hadnt seen that one.
He cannot help himself, he will likely get suspended for the Cripps hit but probably get fined at best for the other 2.

Still can't get over this:

only one lower winning score by Carlton in a final in 100 years!

1968 GF and only won that one by 3 pts (7-14:56 to 8-5:53)
The only premiers to kick less goals than the loser.

Plus only two smaller wins Ever! - 1pt '47 GF, '99 PF
Had fewer scoring shots than the loser in those two just like last night.

LOL - all of the above against Essenscum*

Amen Brother. I am deadset getting worse with age. Maybe because we have been so rubbish, for so long my football loving brain is fried.

I watched the 1st half live and just finished the 2nd half replay.

Damn some of our skills were so, so bad. I know the pressure was huge but

Dropped marks, missed handballs, duff kicks, poor decisions.

Can't fault the attitude, the desire and the intensity, but there is so much improvement in this team, from a simple skills perspective. Can we get it together for two more games???

Regards Cazzesman

Who are the Melbourne commentators? Is the female Daisy? It doesn’t quite sound like her, but maybe it’s just the stress of the moment. And who is the bloke? He sounds familiar but I can’t place him.

Loved the Carlton-only commentary again

@Cazzesman:

Bear in mind...

we were down 19 points and hadn't kicked a goal.
Then kicked the next 5.

We got headed two more times again after that and still fought back.

In terms of winning games of footy with all its good and bad patches, you can't ask for more than that.

I hear ya Ghosty. It was certainly our desire that won the game not necessarily our superlative skills. Except of course the
Weiters,Hollands,Doc,Acres passage of sublime play. :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

If we can get the skills up and maintain the desire and mental toughness, we could do amazing things.
