SOS isn’t getting off that easily.

Not great news if true.

I am sure last night it was mentioned that he had a hammy. The club only said he had a corky but did not say on what part of the body.

You have a long memory
Sayers has a few more pressing concerns than the CFC at the minute
I won’t crawl into a hole completely
You can’t get rid of me that easily
As I said in the past KK things are different these days than 40 years ago

Poster on BF says Cripps will not get up.
Cerra and Martin will and Pitto should.
Marchbank to play.

Yes, it is a corked hammy as I mentioned - the question was if anyone had heard that it was not coming good and that he would likely miss.

It sounds like the rumour is getting legs, so most likely it is true. What a shame.

I know as of Sat morning, Cerra was all but certain to play yet there were still genuine concerns around Cripps and he was 50/50 at best.

To be fair, a decent portion of those are listed as ‘test’ and will probably play or be available. Cripps, Cerra, Martin, Owies, Durdin, Motlop - there must be about 500 games there

To be fair you should make the same deductions for all other teams before devaluing the loss to Carlton

We are a chance in this game but need to bring pressure in our forward half
Our defence has been really good all year
We can keep the Pies to a low score
Must tag both Daicos boys
Josh is underrated
Walsh is a massive out but Cerra and Cripps hopefully will be back
I reckon we play better with McKay not there

Even if Cripps doesn’t make it, and we are missing Walsh and Kennedy, our midfield group can beat there’s.

I don’t like the idea of tagging both Daicos boys. Maybe one if he’s getting plenty of it. If we are beating them playing our way of late, let them worry about us.

One Daicos may be loose and no consideration of defending. We should take advantage of that. Josh on a wing should have an opponent like he should.

I appreciate your opinion on Harry, but it’s a bit of a throw away line. Harry will be a huge out for us. He makes us better IMO. Who do you want in his place in the forward line?

Charlie will be double teamed. One opponent will be an AA, and the other may be an AA this year. Charlie isn’t invincible in that type of challenge. Harry would change that badly screwed contest to make Charlie’s game better, let alone ours

Not really. I have things to do.

I was just pointing out that this week in particular we have a lot of ‘tests’ that may or may not actually result in players missing.

I hope we leave TDK as the sole ruckman and bring Marchbank in to play forward, but I doubt we will

If Marchbank is included, would we move McGov or Kemp up forward to play the 3rd tall role?
That would make more sense to me.

I had thought about that, but the backline is currently humming so I’m inclined not to make a change at two ends of the ground. Keep the backline doing it’s thing and give Marchbank a role up forward. He’s an elite athlete with a huge tank. I remember Nick Riewoldt mentioning he played on Marchbank and couldn’t believe how tough an opponent he was because of his ability to keep up with him. Could really fit in the forward line with this fast paced, hard running game style

Nick was on drugs when he said that because when it came up it turned out they never played against one another

Ha ok, well scratch that comment. Still, I think Marchy could be a damaging forward with our current game style which relies on run and movement more than bombing to packs and contested marks
