It won't be Carroll coming in. Listed as bone bruising to the knee and out for 2. All points to a Motlop debut.

Cerra > Walsh
Martin > Motlop
Williamson > Kemp (sub)

And hopefully that's it.

I like the idea of the 3 mozzies buzzing around the feet of the big boys

Whilst I'd prefer to see Motlop debut, wouldn't shock me if they brought Fogarty in instead.

Kemp is another big body, has good hands, hunts the ball well and has poise. I think he is the perfect in for Martin.
Walsh in for Cerra obviously.
If there are any more midfield omissions I would like Dow to come in.
I want to see Motlop play seniors. He looks AFL ready but maybe the time is not quite right.
Fogarty has other players ahead of him and I just don't see him making the team unless we have major injury worries.
I'd be very surprised if they don't give O'Brien a few games to establish himself.

These will be the changes.

The word "connection" has been parroted by so many this year and has clearly been a focus of Voss and the coaching staff.

I'm quietly confident we will get the job done tomorrow with a real focus on doing it for Vossy, Cerra, Martin, the other staff and each other.

Vs the Bulldogs players making a statement 'for Bevo'?

I reckon we have them covered in the forward line and backline. But the battle will be won in the midfield. Should be a cracking test for us.

I think the Dogs will take this game pretty seriously, we won't have the underdog advantage this time.
They will not risk going 0-2 to start the season.
It will be a tough game and a win would be a massive achievement against a GF side under early pressure.
Go Blues.

I'd feel a bit better if this game was at the G.

Having said that, Carlton by 96 points

Yep, that's my preference too.

Fogarty in is a surprise - saw the game last week with Bondi B and he wasn’t a stand out
