just watching a replay of the game. of all the shit we offer up on the field, the thing that does my flower head in, is when no one attacks the ball carrier, and they all run along side their direct opponent. this has to end. it is infuriating. surely, it can't be a coaching directive.

None better at this than our inspirational pick from the clouds......Boekhorst.

Maybe we were shepherding the Draft pick

Really, really like the look of Jaksch. Not sure why he hasn't played more at senior level.
Nice to see Walker have an impact up forward again.
Pleased to see games being put into Wiley, Dick and Boekhorst. At least they have AFL attributes.
Not sure Smith is smart enough or fit enough to play anywhere other than as a small defender.

for 15 years we've played as a club who internally, can't stand one another.

my worry is; that's not going to change until the board is dismantled.

What do you think is happening right now?

1. We are playing a bunch of kids who aren't fit and never been given a chance under an old Coach
2. We have an interim coach who won't be our future coach
3. We have a group of senior players who won't be here next year playing

I don't care how strong anyones will is, no incentive means no motivation, no motivation means crap results.

Now for the Board.

- The Board has restructured the Executive since MLG took over.
- The Executive has commenced a proper search for a new Coach, and as media have proven, kept it quite internal.
- The new coach will look to build out his assistants and development program.
- The Executive realised we needed a List Manager and got one
- The Executive will employ a Chief recruiter
- The Football Manager role will be reviewed at the end of year (My assumption).

What more do you want them to do?

I see a lot of positives in what MLG is leading, whether people like him or not, I see the Club being modernised.

Lets just relax and watch what the pre-season brings to the table. Nothing will get us excited in the next few weeks outside of the odd cameo by a young kid.

Waste of a month.
