The board doesn't want fahour...

If the board don't want Fahour, then he must be the best person for the job

I don't want anymore people there to be wanted/liked/manipulated.

I want successful leaders of change, leaders of people and industry heavyweights without direct family connections to the club

The machinations of this loss will determine the synchronicity of the board and that of the playing group. It cannot continue to be a void of soul destructive efforts mixed with morale sapping losses. Malthouse just doesn't inspire. The players are spiritless. The board is clueless.

The rot must stop and it needs to be addressed well before the end of the season. Leaving it until then, we may see players walk, other players not want to come, and others who are just content on pitching a tent and toasting marshmallows for a living. Pull the trigger and start to clear out the ghosts of the past and present. This lethargy is an absolute bog.

Spill the board, dismiss the coach and his sidekicks, and breathe some fresh air into our lungs.

The worst selected side I have seen. Carrazzo, Ellard? Match commitee fail
President and Ceo who call for a rebuild in round 2 do not understand football clubs La giudice, Trigg fail

This has to go down as the worst Carlton I have ever seen.....Why does the MC keep playing players who are past it or not up to it? Come on even blind freddy can see that we need to play the kids.....GIVE THEM GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will loose but your giving these raw kids experience in the big league...They give you vigour & will at least try for the club. Malthouse is playing guys to help his future....But he has got no future.
These guys look anything but league footballers atm...Totally lost their Mojo's....Never have I seen this great club in this way. Its really sad to watch.....

Judd injured in the pregame warm up (ran off limping and didn't return) and still was one of our best. I love him for it but it makes me even more disillusioned about where the club is.

Mick playing Carrots who was injured coming into the game (bone bruising in knee was an issue in the first qtr) reeks of desperation and stupidity.

On the rare occassion that we had the ball there was 0 players inside 50 to kick to. Game plan is a bloody disaster.

Mick says the players are playing like robots - that's what happens when you suck out all the flair and instinctive play and trade players who actually create.

Mick says he's in awe of GWS - they're good, but to be in awe of them? I was in awe at how pathetic we are. I wish he was too.

Mick says GWS out ran us and we don't have the cattle to keep up with them - yet he drops the players who do try and run for Carrots and co?

He needs to go tomorrow!

Any chance we can fast forward to the press conference announcing his sacking/resignation? Any games between now & then are just a waste of time because he's not coaching for the future of this club. We're in no man's land. FFS even Slobbo can see this!

74% game time for Judd; 70% for Carrots.

Don't care about %s they were playing injured from the first bounce. I saw it myself.

Holman wasn't allowed to play the second half in the VFL because he was being held over for AFL just in case. Ellard was always going to be a late IN for Cripps. So Holman was insurance for someone else.

Yup, just saying the game time figures hold up with your assessment.

In a game where you're going in with a disadvantage in terms of running power, you want to get an even contribution out of your midfield so that you don't get overrun in the second half.

They were hiding Judd up forward in patches, and Carrazzo looked flat all day. Madness.

All good. I'm not up to speed with the percentages each player usually has so I assumed 70s were good numbers. Obviously not.

As you said Jim, pure madness.

What was the injury ?

I didn't notice the limp until he kicked that goal from outside 50 in the 3rd...

My 8yo son has asked two weeks in a row if he can change teams. Breaks my heart.

so true, our club is in limbo

it's the worst place to be

not contending for a premiership or a finals spot or a developing team

this is 2005 revisited with additional teams to compete against

the team chosen yesterday reinforces this view

At least we could blame the AFL in 2005
