Based on VFL form this year, surprised Holman gets in ahead of Cripps. Good luck to the lad, they obviously have a specific role in mind for him.

Sub, got off the plane with green vest on.

All 3 emergencies in Adelaide. Likely to be a late change I'd say.

Must stop Gray. If we're going to tag 2, then Curnow and Carrazzo on Gray/Boak.

Ebert wins a lot of it, but doesn't hurt by foot. Wines can go head to head with Judd or Gibbs. Kornes will go to Murphy.

Port have 41 of 44 to choose from this week. Only Colqhoun and two ruckman who wouldn't play anyway (Redden/Renouf) unavailable.

Holman has been doing tagging role for a month, you'd think he'll do that tomorrow night

We need to lose this by a fair bit to get our % down. Draft week coming up soon.

I would put the stop on White. When he was out they missed his run and carry terribly. Now he is back they have started playing reasonably again. Shut him down and we are looking good.

Or putting a couple of bananas in the gearbox of an old Morris Minor.

Not sure on the stats, but this is probably the youngest/most inexperienced teams we've named for a long time. 11 players under 50 games. With Cripps a possible inclusion to make it potentially 12.

I'm not expecting a win but I'm looking forward to seeing the same effort and commitment from the last month.

Scored a few free tickets to the game tonight.

Usually the Port vs Blues game is a lock for me, but this year just haven't felt any sort of urge to go. I think this is one of those game we're almost no chance to win, but at least there's a focus on the future. Hope the younglings show something.

Good luck to Holman! (He has by far the best player photo at the club)

Won't happen unless he somehow leaps from the TV screen shouting "BOO!"

But don't expect us to get any credit for playing kids

Funny you say that, Jon Ralph of all people was praising Mick for being patient in bringing the kids in this year. He said he was highly critical of Mick earlier in the year for not bringing them in, but admits because Mick has waited they have all come in and not looked overawed etc.

Poor guy mustn't have been feeling very well.

Meanwhile, we have David King trying to trade Lachie Henderson because we are in a rebuild. True story.
