And an other question, obviously you are allowed into the coaches box and you were informed that mm instructed the to bomb it long. Did you challenge him and request he change his game plan?

We are 2nd or 3rd for long kicks for the season (after being 16th last year) so clearly it has been a focus from the coach.

I'm sure G Brown or someone told him to put it in the shredder when Casboult was taken off and yarran moved up the field.

Saw Yazz on the wing last week too. This is where he should be tearing the league a new one. Hopefully some confidence stems from this week, he played well after those awful early goal misses.

Won the same amount of games as last year with Menzel in and Russell and Bower out.

Not surprising we are still the same as we were last year. Treading water.

Perhaps, but for mine Mick had fewer floggings and was far more convincing against the top 4, with a lot less input from Judd, Murph and a few others.

Go away?

I've been here too long to go away. Not like yourself who only turned up here after Malthouse signed.
Funny that.
Your comments in todays match thread were pathetic. Calling the players "pricks" and "gutless cowards"
I reckon your comments reflect more on yourself than the players.

He also SCORED a win against Gold Coast.

This year we became average...for the same amount of wins. Boring.

Yes.
Rarely exciting.
Rarely woeful.
Average.

Oh hoh...oh hoh oh oh etc
What's a coach now
what's a coach mean
does he send 'em down the middle , does he hang it on the team?
so there he goes go round again
around the boundary says the coach in chAREge.

Did it in round 1 against the Tigers.

Started with the bomb bomb bomb game plan....this week started with the extra tall and the bomb bomb bomb plan.

Then threw it all out the window - subbed off the tall, instructed them to take risks through the corridor - Yarran wing/HB. Use by hand. Play on....open the game up.

Pretty @#$%&! simple.

His stubbornness cost us the game against STK, almost lost it tonight.

A shame he can't put his ego to one side and play a team and style that suits the players from the start.

This is a run and carry team....it doesn't have Tippett Carey or Cloke.

We might win the next week running but we will never break into the top four with that style. That style is ok for bottom teams in the eight......

Depends what we're aiming at doing.

Sounds like albumin fasciitis synbad. And if we do beat a top 4 side, what then? "Not good enough to be in the grand final"? Etc etc Your agenda is so rusted on its a joke

im probably one of a few realists padre...
youre one of the many confused ones.,,,, you are you know???!!!...

we didnt win the game only because we ran....
on that logic we had a 30 point turnaround in one quarter...if we use that logic .. we should have won the game by 120 points... they stopped and as a young side they panicked.

does it mean we can do that often?? no!!!
does it mean we are a top 8 side?... well we made the top 8 .. but it means jack shit!!!... because really were only one of a bunch of teams not really challenging .. and could have finished down as low as 11/12th or so

our main problems ???

no midfield
no leadership
shit list management

need to get those things right before ur any kind of chance...

i just said we might win one next week.. of course we might...!!!... i didnt say we would.. and you wouldnt bet me that we would..

were average!!!...in an average field anything can happen.... were not serious!!!...

but you are serious arent you???

And apparently it's because he listened to the views of some learned people on this site and made the moves they wanted

For some anti MM TC'ers, a loss only validates their opinion of MM's archaic gameplan but a win is justified by the fact that MM finally saw sense and reverted back to this or that style.

Do you know what
***We've dedicated over 100 pages to our diabolical list management
***Had a captain whose influence this year has been significantly sub par
***Have a former captain whose influence on games is being reduced
***We've had a new hard arsed coach who's ruffled feathers with some players obviously sooking
***The players are learning (or not), understanding (or not) following (or not) a gameplan that many on this site abhor
***We were hamstrung (to a great extent) with list changes at the end of the year
***Carazzo has been unavailable most of the year
***Lost Betts for 6 weeks or so + a quiet year from him anyway
***If it weren't for Waite's stupidity, Yarran's petulance and some half decent kicking, would have won 14 games this year (coulda shoulda woulda I know, but whilst not fact, it's a strong case)
***Beat Nth and Saints who've been bogey sides
***Judd, Simpson, Scotland, Carazzo, Waite two years older since the halcyon days of 2011
***according to some on this site, we have at least half a dozen players who've gone backwards under MM

Forget finals as we're there by default.

For a year that's exposed our deficiencies more than any other, we've actually had a more positive outcome than most here can accept

We won, we are playing in Finals, at this point of time that's all that matters, once our season is finished there will be plenty of time for reviews.

I for one refuse to go into next week with any negativity, looking forward to the chance of raining on Richmond's parade

didnt need excuses we made the eight with a very crap list... im st ill trying to understand what padre was on about...

im not impressed with this season
rarely inspired
were spinning the wheels

but the whole club is in neutral...

the whole club isnt doing what it should be.. underperforming.. underwhelming

there is not one area which is cutting edge... not sure why we expect the team will be.

we REALLY need an independent review of the whole footy cub from top to bottom

and yes i know Sticks is chuffed tonight...!!!... hes hoping to fly under the radar to another presidencial year

alot of people think his time is up...

we need change if this club is going to pick itself back up...

on field reflects off field...!!!
