Bootsma handled the ball in the wet vs Syd better than all on our side bar Judd
Kid has something
It's hilarious all these TC bellyachers cry foul there's no Graham but they can't see a talented kid Boots gets a run
There's a queue and Graham will be given his go soon
But before Graham there was Cachia and before him Bootsma and before him Lucas and before him McCinness and before him Watson
Get it??
Menzel is special
You all need to settle the @#$%&! down - the kid will get a run soon

The other thing is Graham is a classic in and under type and you need to be physically ready for that shit at AFL level so maybe they're just protecting him right now

Cachia is a beast

Curnow has been around years now

Graham is a kid onballer

Well he is in and under but also can get it on the outside - in the TAC last year he ranked equal first in the comp for effective kicks, equal second for loose-ball gets.

Perfect mid for our side at the moment - someone who can find it in space, make good decisions and hit targets. Something a lot of our players cannot offer.

Why do you think he isn't picked???

Surely the club know a lot more than you, right??

Not having a go, just challenging you to be rationale instead of passionately knee jerking

There must be a reason right??

Maybe the incumbents are getting a good run at it. Maybe??

Bootsma ahead of AndyMac....your kidding
Rowe ahead of Casboult....your kidding

The comments from MM re lack of pressure from fwds and mids are rubbish.
Lucas and Robbo taking the blame. WTF
What about the Amigo's, Rowe, the captain, the former captain, slowman etc, etc ????

Would've been a perfect game to blood Graham and bring Bell back in.

Hoping Waite plays back and Watson is left fwd.

Perfect game to make his debut... imo

I can't explain why he isn't being picked - it certainly isn't a good look when the midfield is struggling in terms of uncontested possessions and skill.

The current balance of the midfield isn't working.

People are forgetting McInnes is coming back from a year out with a knee and recent groin issue. Maybe the MC are trying to manage his workload and don't want him running around on the hard Etihad surface.

Don't think too many people are unhappy w Bootsma playing. Personally I hope he plays in the right position.

As for Menzel, talented yes but on pure form there is no way he gets a spot over Graham.

We lack genuine mids, players who can play 4 qtrs, and players who can work both ways.

My concern is with Yarran, Menzel, Betts, Garlett, Curnow, Bootsma in the one side how much ball are we going to win??

If the Bulldogs can put some real pressure on us they are a strong chance. If they don't our front runners will have a field day. Time for Gibbs & Murphy to really stand up.

Can't agree with that Sugarcane. He is an accumulator. Just works and works, gets to the right positions and racks up possessions. Not purely in and under at all.

Bulldogs are a gun contested possession team

Carlton are 9-0 in games they win contested ball and 0-9 in games they have lost contested ball.

The negativity on this forum hasme visiting less often . A few points:

1) Disappointed Graham is not in. Would love to know the reason.

2) Rowe is seen as the better ruck relieve and that's why he is still in.

3) Murphy will be moved back into the
midfield I assume. Maybe Kade too.

4) I hope Troy gets a full game. Excited by the prospect of Henderson at FF and Waite at CHF

5) Mitch had possessions last week but his disposals were awfull.

We must have the worst MC in the competition.

Where do I start?

Bootsma ... how many opportunities has this bloke had this year ... he might blossom in the years to come ... and thats great ... but come on ... surely there are others that need a chance now ... this guy is MM's white haired boy.

Robinson ... 25 possessions last week ... certainly not our worst midfielder ... terrible decision.

Then of course ... 3 midfielders out ... 0 midfielders in. The mind boggles ... especially when our midfield is struggling with a full complement.

Sam Rowe ... playing terrible football ... why is he still in the side?????? Why not try Casboult? ... he could not play any worse.

Graham!!!!!!!! ... what can say ... this bloke should be in the team ... disgraceful.

Pathetic effort again by the MC. They should hang their heads in shame. Do these blokes actually watch the game?

We are going full steam in reverse and this is the crap they dish out.

The MC know more about the players and the game than you right??

Do you Reckon? I don't see any evidence of that.

Bootsma is perfect matchup for Grant.
Need to spray them CSI style to find them.
