I don't agree with a lot of your opinions but I defend your right to have them.

My opinion- the hysterical rhetoric in this thread is ludicrous and many of you need to go have a cold shower...

Why are we making excuses?
Our mids are lazy and only run one way
We don't know how to stick a tackle
Our skills are below average
We hardly do any gut running unless we think we are going to get the ball
We hardly ever kick to advantage
We never make space for our team mates
We never shepard
And it looks like we never talk by the amount of times we kick blindly and are run into trouble
and we can't set up a goal through the middle of the ground

we had a lot of shots from the flanks and pockets which we got lucky today and a lot of running with the ball into the fifty.
There is no way this game plan will get us anywhere except stuffed in the last quarter just like today and that's were all our deficiencies will be exacerbated.

The only negatives I have are Davies, Boots, Bell and Simmo. All walking turnovers.

We ran out of legs, but I thought we fought the game out.

Mick is learning quickly about certain players when the going gets tough.

casboult. oh, and lucas til he kicked that goal..but gee.. they fell over a lot. the opposition seemed to keep their feet better. was that the choice of stops in the boots, or ??

didn't mind bell, or simmo.

can't help wondrn' if we'd made Carrots Captain, would he be firing right now?
anyway, Murph looked on the up today.

geez, it sure feels like we have a few hacks. but..there were some things to like as well. Kreuzer..wow he's good. lauchy..hmm that goal was amazing.

Just a hint even?

Still not exited.

FFS he's 2 games into a 3 year contract. You know as well as I do years of habits don't get changed in 2 games.

That be why he's not getting exited

Certainly not all gloom and doom, were better this week than last. We'll be a good side by the end of the year, it all takes time, I've got faith in MM. But oh boy, if we don't play a big part in the finals next year.... Whether we win enough games in the first half of the current season to play finals is debatable though.

We have to all but forget about Scotto and Jarrod, one's 32, the other 30 and injured more often than not, they're not the future, maybe not even part of the present.

Worst defence and offence since Pagan days, amazed we got that close the shock of jolly took them a while to think through then good night. Thouhy, Davies, boots, laidler, casboult,Robinson & Simpson all needed a zone 1 ticket, can't win with that many down.

Wow, the best yet. Today's team beats pagans team by ten goals plus. Ridiculous post.

Maybe if you could read Sunshine, That back six was as bad as We have fielded for a long time, on quality and form. The forward was all crumbers and a first gamer and well casboult. Least pagan had fev and betts. The mids were obviously at superior to Pagans lot. So your ten goal dribble is just that.

I can read fine...pagans defence had such luminaries as, my God who did we have? Teague? Forward line had Fev...and DeLuca, Davies etc. Your post was wrong in so many ways. Today was a loss, but improvement from last wee. Work in progress.

Just a hint even?

Just want to see a sign of what he is trying to do. All i see is the same style of play as we had before he arrived only not doing it as well.

I have seen Hird, Lyon, Sanderson and even Hinkley stamp their brand of football on a team from round 1 first year.

Great bowler, stamped his authority on a game from ball one.

If we ran out of legs what does it say about the match committee and training services ability to get our players up and going and able to run out a game. 10 day break to 7. The opposition using their sub early and having no ruckman for the majority of the game.

I know what you're saying; but even Ratts may've failed that test today with the team we had out on the park.....we did well for 3 quarters against them AND the Umpires.

I was very keen for them to drop Duigan......but to bring this guy in for him was mind numbingly dumb for mine.
