Pleased to see some new faces and we have neen besiged by injuries but if we play like that against the Tigers Saturday night we will get beaten comfortably.

9 players less than 50 games
3 debutants
2 others with less than 10 games
Plus 3 blokes that have run their race

You need to pull your head in Keogh there is no way we should have beaten anyone last night

Look at the Bulldogs they arent any better! Lots of kids, lots of inexperience and the loss of Higgins after halftime hurt them badly. As MM said they just have No one how can kick a goal.

Everyone looks at whos out but look whos in. Murphy, Carrazzo, Jamison, Yarran, Betts, Gibbs should be able to match anyone especially given the lack of class in the Bulldogs side.
That's 6 blokes, and probably Scotland as well, then there's another 15 players. Every side has some class players.

They actually had more games experience than us last night. Ch 7 mentioned that last night saying how ironical it was. They were certainly far better off personal-wise than us.

A long way to go but credit where it was due.

Possibly the one against Thornton, but even that was in a grey area, and in every single match this year, the benefit of the doubt has gone to the defender if there's even a sniff of pressure from a forward. Why was that situation any different?

The one against JR, again a 50/50. A shove in the process of taking the mark happens dozens of times in every match, yet is rarely given a free kick, and a 50 is only given if the mark has already been completed, which in that case, it hadn't.

Both were overreactions by umpires who wanted to get their 5 minutes of fame. Almost as bad as the free given to Eddie last week, after the North forward had handballed off.

Pathetic.

Did you give Ratts the same benefit of the doubt when Walker went down after 10 mins last week against the Roos.

You call me a spin doctor and yet the fact we are missing some real class from our team has not seemed to entered into any of your thought process. Why is that? And not only have we lost some real A Grade cream we have added 3 1st game players off the Rookie list to the likes of McInnes, Watson, Collins and Yarran.

It's one thing to want changes at the club, it's quite another to dismiss every good effort because it doesn't suit your agenda.

A bit childish even.

It deserved 50m for stupidity. He wasn't in the contest at all. Came in late, even if were half a second, and sent him to ground. 50 every day of the week. Russell continues to make very bad decisions. That's why he doesn't get games.

Loved the look of Levi.

Watched plenty of him over the years and its good to see his body stand up and play a senior game of footy! With Kruze or Robbie in the side next week, i hope they retain him and play him as a key forward.

I think considering we had no ruckman we did pretty well. We had a younger and less experienced side with 3 rookies and they all improved as the game went on.

Like Casboult, liked McLeans game, Eddie, Yazz and Jeffy did their bit.

Big challenge to back it up next week. That'll determine whether we play finals.

It was a stupid impulsive thing, but the Dogs player hadn't taken the mark when he was pushed. So the most it should have copped was a free kick for a push in the marking contest.

I think after last night the kid deserves atleast that opportunity over the next 3 to 4 weeks atleast.
Warnock will be available next week, therefore give Krooze a little more time, if needed, and to me he looked like he needs it.
Waite or Henderson are crucial to us if we where to make finals. One of these needs to come in for the Richmond game but again hopefully only if they are fit. We are hurting ourselves long term with playing these guys when they aren't fit.
Most of all what we need to do is settle our goal to goal line down a little and not sure we can do that unfortunately.
Cassy will help though.

Of course we deserve credit, it was a gutsy win with an undermanned side. We had no right to win last night with the side we had in. Why can't we just be happy for what it was?

We aren't going to make the top 4, get over it. We would have given it a shake but injuries put paid to those hopes. Shit happens!

It is really sad that some people just can't bring themselves to enjoy a fighting win achieved with one of our most undermanned sides in many years.

Don't agree. Casbolt will get his go when the time comes. He's still getting over KR. If Kreuzer, Warnock, Hendo, Waite are fit and available we play them. There's no room for playing kids when a finals spot is on the table.

wooope!!!

Where was that when we had less outmanned sides??

Credit is getting the most out of the players individually.. and the list as a whole.

He has failed!!!...

Individual brilliance is what he relies on.... we have some of that.... but he cant harness it into a team effort.

Fantastic that Juddy is out for a few weeks!!... im loving it... gives other players a cha nce to step up from behin d the shadow of "give it to the champ"... AKA "THE GAME PLAN!!"

I was rapt with last night, didn't expect to even get close. But under ratts there is a ceiling on the potentialof this team that shouldn't exist.

Just watched some highlights. Must say, even so he got caught a couple of times, seeing Yazz running with the ball like a rugby player, out running and dodging opposition players is just so much fun.

There is, the right one's. If Casboult was to hold down a KP then we only need one ruck. Waite doesn't have to be played in a KP then either. Provides more flexibilty for Henderson too. Casboult playing well changes many dynamics. If some the kids are playing well they'll get games.
