One thing that made me rage watching the game on the weekend was one of our players would have possession deep in the defending 50, only for everyone up the ground to just stand there! There was no effort to lead, make position or any sort of option.

Absolutely can see no answer behind it other than lack of work ethic. This was not some brilliant Power zone. They were man on man and there was certainly space. It just led to a nothing bomb down the line. Hard running to a kick into space is not rocket science. Even if it is only a 20/30 metre gain. It does not require "elite" kicking either. Better than risking a turnover.

Little things like this all add up, hope not to see it against the cats.

Might be safer to have your eye's put out.

I've got no clue on how we can fix our midfield woes.

As far as our forward line goes, I'd put Yarran at full-forward and Walker to the half back flank. If Kreuzer is back then Hampson to play CHF for the whole game and forget about rucking. Betts needs to be a crumber rather than a focal point. Tuohy hasn't set the world on fire down back - train him up to be an outside the 50m arc (paint) goal scorer. Let him give it some shoe.

Too many chaos balls going into our forward line. The best teams have permanent forwards and everyone knows where they are going to run to and how to hit them on the chest. Hampson has looked okay as a marking forward but his kicking for goal has been 50/50. Three OOB on the full in the past two matches, all easily scorable shots. Get him marking up around 50 and moving the ball on. Yarran is great on the lead, he's fast, can mark well on the lead and is a good kick for goal, and very handy if the ball spills. He just needs to be fit. He also works well with Betts and Garlett when the ball is zipping about.

Get Betts into the guts and out of the forward line for the majority of the game.

Some, like you, say he's a bit Aladeen, whilst others, mostly South Australians, say he's actually a bit Aladeen.

Have been confident the last few weeks and expecting a win, but things are going from bad to worse. We do have a lot of injuries and while they will be a reason for less talent on the park they can never excuse less effort and getting crunched by 9 goals by PA can't be excused by injuries.

Can't see us winning this one the way we are going, but the Cats haven't been too flash either. I reckon Watson (regardless of VFL form) was promising last week. The guy has played about 5 games, is big, seemed to handle the ball well and thumped a few big kicks. Give him a few in a row, tolerate mistakes and lets see what we have got.

Lets be inventive but sensible. Playing Bower forward last week was ridiculous. Try Tuohy in the middle and let him chase the ball and be attacking. We might get burnt the other way, but also his confidence might soar, the Cats might pay him no respect and he might provide some pace, drive and penetrating kicking.

I guess it is beyond hope that Gibss will be used as anything but a half back flanker / tagger. Surely we recruited him to be more than that. Put him in the middle and tell him to be at the bottom of every pack. I'd be happy with that if he didn't get a possie. Show him some film of Coniglio and Toby Greene at GWS and say 'we want that'. Not necessarily his fault as the MC are willing to try Bower at full forward but not put Gibbs in the guts.

Give Collins a full game, tell him to run, get the ball, kick it long to a one on one, move it quickly. Lets fail by trying to do too much not too little. Next three weeks define our season, injuries or not, time to turn up and play Blues. The Dees have no talent at all and were 8 zip, but they fought all night and look what happened. Just maybe if we try instead of excusing ourselves because we have guys out we might surprise ourselves and our supporters.

Remember this is a fully ticketed game so everyone has to upgrade to a reserved seat. Just what we all feel like doing, forking out more money to watch our side.

..the problem with these 'injuries', is they're clouding some ppl's views.. ..warning signs were there from early on.. ..post pies win, we've played poorly.. ..even our victories were poorly played [frem, gws, dees]..

It's depressing enough that our No.1 pick has yet to be the mid we so desperately wanted, but the sight of Pick 7 Selwood boring in an cleaning him up at every stoppage will be enough to send me over the edge..

In Today's Herald Sun, The Players seem to be confused and unsure why they are playing so poorly!!!

Are you For Real? Can you be that Stupid and Naive? Would few of the TC members would like to Visit the Club to give them some Clues as to why they are playing so bad?

Unbelievable the Sort of Rubbish that the Club sometimes dishes out to the Media....Why be in Denial?

Wonder if Warnock can reverse last years result and kick the winner this time

Just think last year at round 11
8 wins 2 loss and a draw

We would take that at the moment as we are staring down the barrell of 6 and 5 and the draw has almost been identical with adelaide instead od Sydney and Gws instead of GC

Anyone who thinks we are not in reverse are dreaming

Well back to the game, my guess based on our history is...

Out: Curnow, Scotland (calf)

In: Dale, Russell

Dale to be sub.

Bower is a big gone if Lachie is fit but I don't reckon he is. Please play him back though Ratts. Having said that have some faith in Jamo and Watson as the talls and bring in a runner, or make Bower 3rd man in defense and have Gibbs play either an attacking role or an accountable shutdown role on Bartel or Stevie (only tags for this game, tagging doesn't mean you completely obliterate your own game either)

I do not really rate Joseph but he was ok on Boak. Panics with the ball when in the back half though.

I don't think Yaz is fit ATM but no one else to replace him with, sounds like Lucas battled in the VFL.

If Boots or Watto get dropped I'll spew. Along with Judd, Ellard and Brock they actually gave a shit last week.
