I reckon we finish 8th, despite losing to St Kilda, with Sydney handing us a reprieve by getting over Geelong at Skilled, end up playing Eagles in Perth first week, sneaking home with slightly better percentage.

North are definitely in. Reckon it's Geelong and Essendon* that miss out. GC and Lions games are key though.

According to my predictor not only do we scrape into 8th but we get our beeyatches the Pies in the 1st the week.

We play Swans (Swans minus Ried and possibly goodes whilst we get back Simpson, Waite & Walker) / Lions / Bombers (with Juddy back) / Gold Coast and then the Saints.

I mentioned a few weeks back that I feel we can go the rest of the season without a loss and I still think this is possible. If this is the case, we finish with 56 points.
Saints game looks likely to be the one to get us in the 8.

We really need Freo and North to stumble a bit. Ditto the Bombers.

We cant win 4 or 5 in row havent done for years and we need to win 6 in row

Cannot see it happening we will sit here hoping everyone above us will fall over like last year and it wont we will be the team to fall over

12 wins may get you in if a heap of results fall your way but you really need 13 and that means dropping only one game -Lions and Gold coast we should be right - getting revenge on Essendon* would be good but the saints and the swans will be tough

Freo have: WC, Adl (away), Rich (home), North (away), Melb (home). They won't win more than 3 of those IMO.

StK have: Filth, Melb, Geel, GWS, us. There are 2 definite wins there. Shame we have to play them at Etihad though and their % is much higher than ours.

Norf have: WB, Ess, Filth, Freo (home), GWS. They may only lose 1 of those because Collingwood always smack them.

Hmmmm.

This.

We've beaten the dogs & tigers... and even then we needed them to choke to get over the line.
We aren't a finals quality team this season

Its unlikely we will make it but these games are developing some much needed grit in our boys.

Led by none other than Brock McLean.

He's done a lot of smashing into people lately.

I reckon we'll make the 8 if we win every game, possibly even if we drop one.

Freo still have to play Crows and Kangas away. If they drop both would put us a game clear of them. Even if we drop one it would come down to %. Need to win today to maintain the belief though.

if north beat freo and gws and freo beat melb and richmond they go to 13 wins which means we need to win the lot cos of out crap %. we also need Essendon* to beat north and hopefully lose the rest or win maybe just 1 other

thats why we need to win every game and north and freo 2 out of their 4, or we can lose 1 game but would then need to make up the %

If we lose today, we need to win every game, and Freo and North lose almost every game for the rest of the season.

Even if everything goes right, we're a good chance to miss 8th on percentage if we lose.

13 wins plus percentage just to make the 8
That nearly got you top 4 a few years back

That's because GWS and GC weren't adding a minimum of two wins to the good teams.

..........and also top 8 of 16 is half (obviously) yet 8 of 18 ain't. So the team finishing 9th (us) will end up with 11 wins.
