I don't think having a season launch which, 5%?, of membership could afford is being much of a club to me. My worry is in chasing the big $s they forget we're a club. I would also like to feel my humble contribution continues to be valued. Or else i suppose we go back to Elliott days where we "didn't need members"? Cheaper for me.

hey guys just a question, i orderd my blues membership 2months ago is it normal not to have my package by now? because im pretty sure the other yrs its been a month at the most

I always pay for my membership early , but the package often arrives late March or early April, so don't hold your breath. The clubs membership dept needs a massive shake up.

My mate who is a member of both Melbourne & Footiscray receives his respective membership packs with 1-2 weeks of payment.

I am also a member of Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL and always receive the pack within 21 days of payment. They also include a lot more for interstate members than Carlton does.

Whilst our club & membership department remain in the 20th Century we will never reach the membership levels of a certain other clubs.

Can anyone tell me when we can expect to find out reserved seating allocation?
Have upgraded from Captains Club General Admin to Captains Club Reserve, and am anxiously awaiting to find out if we managed to get seats on level 2. Does anyone know how likely this is? Has anyone missed out on level 2 seating before?

Cheers

This is the only thing that really sh$ts me about the club at the moment.
We have some of the best players, coaches and facilities.
We have some of the countries best & richest business people backing us.

But our membership department & customer service is running behind the pack.

club membership is important but corporate sponsorship and gaming seem to be the areas of serious focus

Renewed my LD membership at the ground on Friday. The Membership DEpt were excellent. Hopefully this year the membership package makes it to China unlike the previous couple of years.

Hey, Taff, I was about to renew my LD (I have it at Paul's address so he can use the card) but it allocates me a seat number. I find that very confusing. It is headed renewal BB upsell. Does that mean they are trying to make me pay extra? There are no explanatory notes. If I chance to get to a game or two during the season, I like to sit with friends and not be forced to sit away from them.

Does yours have a seat allocated? I am now waiting for clarification from someone (you hopefully) before I pay anything. I assumed that renewal meant just that and nothing else. It costs $124. Basically a donation to the club as I am unlikely to go back to Oz this season unless I have to.

Hope all well with you and yours...

This intrigues me. Who are they? What contribution are they making to the club?

Think he's referring to some of the MC work Tony Barber does for the club?
