Given the wording of the offense, I don't think he'd have a hope of winning a challenge.

The wording of the offense is obviously designed to allow the MRP/AFL a massive amount of 'discretion'.

It's my understanding the Club is copping the penalty; and will not fight it.

simply must challenge. The MRP have guessed at what happened at best. Judd should never have said a word about the incident. That is even dumber than the actual incident itself. What shit way to end the season. Unbelievable

And even worse way to start next season...let's hope we kick it off with the Dees and the Tigers...

I can't get my head around it. Seemed so out of character. WHAT was he doing?

not really "out of character"... anyway... heat of the moment stuff....

but it has to be frustration...

Should have jst got him later the way Bateman got Lloyd.

That's an interesting point, how Bateman only got 1 week for his act is astounding!

I am certainly unhappy with Judd's actions on Rischitelli, but I think the 3/2 weeks is a bit out of whack given other decisions from the MRP. But they're so incosistent I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise.

Anyway, I hadn't seen or heard the "pressure point" interview until tonight...

I heard that crap on SEN with the kung fu master. Had to have a laugh. Cant wait to see what crap hutchy comes up with

As I said earlier the credence given to this so called Kung Fu Master by SEN and this absolute pig of a shit bloke in Mark Robinson just beggars all belief.

William Cheung has about as much credibility as this bloke:

Stupid thing to do and he deserves weeks for being stupid.

Having said that, I think Kade Simpson among others is in trouble - have you seen how he is constantly touching the face of others in the rooms after the game while singing the club song. That is intentional, low impact contact to the face that is unnecessary, and yet he gets away with it every time we win. Something needs to be done at the club because we clearly have a culture of face touching (particularly from supposed leaders of our club) that needs to be stamped out. Next thing you know Nick Stevens will be licking people, thinking they are a drumstick, or CHF's of our club will be allowed to get new contracts despite being out all night drinking and then turning late to recovery sessions while looking like Eddie Betts drew on their arm with a texta.

We have no leadership at this club or role models for the younger players to look up to.

It was just a little tickle behind the ear.

As for intention...well you don't get 6 weeks for missing someone with a punch.

No one got hurt.

Judd was being playful in an interview.

He's been very harshly penalised for a misdemeanor.

Fight it! :fight:

Hope he doesn't miss against the Bulldogs this week.

We did win, didn't we?

30 points up in the last...

What seems to have been forgotten is that there was a cartlton player at the bottom of that little scrimmage and the two lions players on top of him were obviously giving him a bit of a working over.

I want to know what they were doing to cause Saint Christopher to turn into a rogue agent!

Other than that he was a little bit naughty & stupid and deserves 2 weeks served in the mickey mouse cup.

I heard that Risk A Telly was complaining to Judd he had a bad tension headache.
Judd asked him to lie down and he'd fix it for him.
The rest is history.

..i think some of us are getting too precious, it's as if Juddles can do no wrong, and some ppl think us as a club, are infallible.. ..truth is, very very few of us actually know Juddles personally, and ergo, we've no idea if it's actually 'out of character' for him or not.. ..like another poster said, either Juddles' isn't as smart as we all attribute him to be, or he's getting too smart for his own good..

....while i agree with everyone that he routinely cops unfair treatment from opposition players, unfortunately that's never a defence and if as a club we're either too weak/soft to really complain to the afl/ump assoc., or we've gone a long time without a legitimate enforcer (welcome back walks!!),, you can't point to everyone else as an excuse for what we do.. ..we all know the suspensions are totally out of whack, and i'm not saying i agree with two weeks.. ..but given the suspenion maniacs running the show nowadays you've really got no idea what will happen, so its best not to try anything dodgey.. ..and going for a 'pressure point' is a dodgey tactic..

.... ..like i said before, after the whole brown incident, the mrp was made to look foolish, and those bums were never gonna forget about it, and this just gave them a sweet opportunity to get their own back.. ..and to the poster that said you don't get suspended for missing someone with a punch, tell that to Lynchy.. ..Juddles admitted his intent, and he's really got himself to blame for his supension.. .more so from the admission, than the actual act which he may have wriggled out of..

I would have thought one week was enough. That's what Fev got a few years ago for gouging Grover.

..sounds about right/fair.. ..but juddles kinda admitted he was trying to do 'something intentionally' to shitelli thats outside the rules, and more-so it's payback for giving them all the laugh two years ago regarding the brown incident..

What Judd said was stupid but if the tribunal wants to be consistent they need to hand out consistent penalties. Whatever Judd was trying to do didn't end up being very much.
