I'd love to play all 3.. Then who misses out? Army?

I just hope the MC doesn't screw us over like they did the Adelaide game. It had nothing to do with the 3 suspensions but who they chose to play in their place. In selecting Johnson and Browne it meant that the game was a guaranteed shoot out. We had neither the depth in the forward line to match up with their defense nor the defense to match up with their attack.

We match up favorably against Brisbane in my opinion, but thats just it.

I see where Synners is coming from in this debate the two of us are having and I agree with most of his points. I left Yarran out thinking he'd be the first to go (not counting Johnson and Browne). I honestly hope I'm wrong. My partner said "It should be Wiggins that should go and they ought to play all three..." my argument was "They wont dump Wiggins because he's played his entire career to get to this point." The harsh reality is that she may be right. The finals is no time for emotion. However, Wiggo provides what finals football is all about. Whose the one who misses out if all three are to play?

I would
Yarran HFF
Garlett and Betts closer to goal

even Yarran at HBF sometimes
and Betts in the middle sometimes.

I'd also play Warnock/Sauce

I'd drop - Johnson Browne Wiggins

If I am not mistaken, if we (we will) beat Brisbane then we will meet Collingwood or St.Kilda the week after......

Agree. Also reckon we need an in and under type and all we have left is Bentick whose form has been good in the ants (?)...we need a sacrificial lamb to get under the packs and give off some handballs because our mids (other than Judd) do not want to do it.

I agree that Yarran was more impressive than Garlett. However, I believe Garlett's finishing (kicking) skills is better than Yarran. I believe he is more accurate of foot. Yarran does impress me. You're right about him (Garlett) being slight of build, though.

i cant see Gaarlett having better polish on his kicking than Yarran either...

Yarran has A grade finishing skills... Garlett doesnt have the penetration in his kicking and he likes bananaring for goal...

I think the only facet Garlett is ahead is the tank...

Id be playing Yarran if i had to choose between the two any day of the week..... but it would be intersting to play both...and Betts...

Agree.

Finals are often won by taking risks & doing the unexpected on game day and at the selection table.

Why not play all 3??

All 3?

You mean 2?!

1. St Kilda
2. Geelong
3. Bulldogs
4. Collingwood
5. Adelaide
6. Brisbane
7. Carlton
8. Essendon*

so 1 and 2 win. 3, 4, 5, 7 are left.

Carlton play Western Bulldogs. Adelaide play Collingwood in Melbourne.

If Carlton and Collingwood win...

1, 2, 4, 7.

Carlton Vs St. Kilda; Collingwood Vs Geelong

If Carlton win we play Collingwood/Geelong.

Well last season it was Friday night and Saturday night for the semi finals. And they will both me in Melbourne, so you can't have two finals at the MCG on the one day

Vlad doesn't even know what day it is. He took leadership lessons from Dumb and Dumber (John Howard and George W. Bush).
