That's fantastic. From what I saw 18 months ago it really is awesome. So glad I was able to contribute to the Blue Believers, it is such a worthy cause to donate and ensure our boys have the very best. I hope the Collingwood fans and Essendon* fans are reading this right now...suck it up and Bombers I hope you enjoy training in your pathetic facilities

Here's Adelaide's...looks great and incorporate's a Crows museum. Probably gotta face facts that the Crows have money to burn and we're struggling financially, so museum not even considered. A great shame considering our great history.

That's the new carpet range from IKEA. It's all the rage in Sweden.

Just a guess, but its probably used tactically to indicate where the players should position themselves and move.

Why waste money on a museum for? The traffic through Visy Park is non existent where as Windy Hill generates plenty of traffic through its doors being local community hub and a social club and Football Park host the Crows home games and a social club to.

How many times would any of you get to Visy Park in a year? other than getting my membership i have no reason

Are you for real? Do you think Local, State and Federal Governments invest in that infrastructure without it being available for community use? These new facilities aren't just for the 40 boys on our list you know. The Carlton Football Club and Visy will share the following facilities with the community:

- 70-person Lecture Theatre to be known as the Visy Sustainability Living Centre
- Café and Function Room
- Community Meeting Room
- group exercise room/studio suitable for community fitness
- smaller meeting rooms

Activities within Visy Park will include:

- Lecture Theatre (Visy Sustainable Living Centre) dedicated to promoting more sustainable lifestyles to individuals, groups and the community, with up to 100 school students a week visiting the centre.
- The Visy Effective Disposals Program will be held at the Centre. Businesses will be invited to hear on behalf of the Climate Project an Australian version of Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth.”

I go to Visy Park probably 25 times a year. I think that will increase to 50 this year and beyond. My kids will go there...my wife intends to use the facilities and she doesn't barrack for Carlton...funnily enough I don't get my membership through there...but any Carlton merchandise I buy from there (you're mad to get it anywhere else if you can help it because your money ain't going to the club) and guess what - the players train there!! This is one of the oldest football clubs in the world and a history as rich as any other...that it has no museum is very, very sad.

I'd love a museum, not sure of how many people would go there though. Doc you go there alot, I'd say 99% of supporters didn't go there in the past 12 months.

Going to Hawks museum today, will try and get some photos up.

On the Crows museum, do you Vics realise how many desperate deluded people live over here and think the AFL is the Crows and Crows only.

They are held on such a high pedestal it makes me wanna :banghead:

They charge for a tour/museum visit also. The after match function which was available to ALL Gold Members is now an additional add on, and there has been a fair backlash from supporters over here, and the "elitist" way the Crows have turned.

The "Team for all South Australians" as they call themselves can go and get [REDACTED] !

Just a load of spin to get the funding from all parties.

Mate all i wanna see the club do is make room in our cabinet for our 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th premiership cups.

Aido, so you don't care about the history of the 1st to 16th Cup?

The players who have played in those Premierships?

So how have we celebrated the past 100 hundreds years of this clubs history without one and managed to survive? So i don't think your Navy Blue world would come crumbling down if one isn't built now.

The 16 premiership flags/cups represents 'The Carlton Football Club' and not individuals. Those clubs who chose to celebrate individual players probably haven't got much else to show.

Anyway, there will be a space in the foyer which will hold precious memories of the club for people to see when they walk in. If you want a guided tour through our history you can buy a book, jump on the internet or even speak to your dad, grand father, uncles and they can relive all the memories for you.

Couldn't care less how fany of a museum we have cause when we win our 17th i'll turn round to all the clubs with there fancy museums and say 'shove that up your clacker'
