A normally reliable poster on Big Footy suggested that Scotland signed a new contract for 2 years earlier this week and will be announced soon.

Not sure how true this is.

Thanks NYT...do you know which of these are 100% done and dusted? I've only been updating when I am 100% sure.

Read somewhere here that it could be a performance based contract that would trigger the third year. Let's hope this is true.

Yup IIRC, it was based on performance in B&F count.... considering he DID NOT POLL A VOTE out of a possible 550 last year... I dont think he will still be on that list.

I would be mindful if I were the club to make sure that we sign Hamo up with an option to extend, enabling us to ensure he doesnt go out of contract in 2011 as I am sure the new team on the gold coast would have a free shot at any uncontracted players for 2012 and also would have an inflated salary cap to allow them to poach players.
