Hopefully you haven't bankrupted the club before then.

I'll stay a member. But someone had better get an EGM petition going, because this Board needs to go NOW.

Constant upheaval? What upheaval Fegg? Having the same old same old is why we're in this predicament. Same old 90's coaching philosophies, same old 80's business models.

Pathetic. If you're poor you change it for the better. There has been no change and quite frankly it appears the Board are happy with sh*t.

I think a pertinent point was made about recruits in the Draft.....will they....or their parents be enthused about their sons joining a Club in such disarray; let alone it's bleak onfield performance?

Well at least thats putting a positive spin on an otherwise very bad situation - at least a determined denis might achieve more than a disgruntled denis.

Im not 100% sure that something wont go wrong between now and Christmas.

Cant help feeling it aint over and SOS will be coach at some stage between now and the end of the two years......I dont see how Kernahan can remain in office after staging a mini revolt and losing at board level.

Barry Mitchell is the fall guy this time but with such a flaky board and weak president I would still be watching my back if I was Denis...
Its been ludicrous these last couple of days and I hope the membership doesnt take a hit...I'll be interested to see how the club market a unified front to the members and potential members and what propaganda they come up with....

Well, to be perfectly honest, they don't have a choice if they want to play AFL footy.

If they drop out of the draft rather than be drafted by Carlton, then they'll never play senior footy, and there would be serious draft tampering ramifications if they ended up at another club (I hope)

Won't happen when you've lost the players. We'll be down the bottom while he's here. Other than a few more early picks it'll be a waste of a couple of years for us. Maybe they can give him a couple of assistant coach that he hates, making life tough fort him. Knowing the gutless board though they'll let him keep his assistants too.

...Not really - after a while you get a good feeling for who is bullshitting. There's a handful of people who DO have close connections who post on this website...and sometimes do come through with the goods. Tonights one was a little tricky for anyone to know, and I think most people on here realised that.

What evidence do you have that he's lost the players? A few people coming on here saying so?

Rodney Eade said last night that every year you turn over 8-10 players or 25% of your list. Those in the firing line are going to be upset with the coach.

Time to move on guys, support your coach, support your board, support your club. Leave the agendas and bias behind.

You have a short memory. Remember throwing out the Elliot board? What about 3 presidents in nearly as many years?? So once we,ve ousted this lot, how long does the next board get , is there some time vs success formulae that we should apply? How does it appear that the board are happy with sh*t??

Jim Hird lasted till pick 79 in the 1990 Draft because he was never ever going anywhere else but Essendon* and everyone (recruiters) knew it.
