For what it's worth- my mail today was Pick 1- Brodie, 2 McCluggage, 3 Petrevski ,4 Bowes, Us- Ainsworth. Also, and I can't see this happening, Marchbank in the PSD as doesn't want to go to Essendon***. BB keen on JOM but club considers too much risk particularly what happened with Daisy.

Looks alright to me

Trade first pick next year for Jaeger.
Trade our second round and one of our third rounders for Marchbank and Hoskin-Elliot.
Pick 5, best available.
Our other third rounder, best available.
Delisted FA, Seb Tape.

You know that pick next year is likely to be picks 1 or 2

Pass.

Exactly. Next year's pick will more than likely be a top 3 and it is meant to be a strong draft next year.

Could it really be? this is more exciting than the trade week when Juddy came to us. From now, I will be hitting refresh on the Carlton website every 10 seconds !!!

The afl website suggests we have considerable room in our salary cap due to the Walker and Jamieson retirements, don't their salaries have to be included for next year?

Is it possible that if they have been forced to retire due to injury that only part of their salary be included?

No, unless we are actually paying them. If they chose to retire any remaining contract is ripped up

I think it is different when players retire due to injury. The club can pay some of it this year if the club and player have come to an agreement.

I reckon one will be Weitering which will surprise and excite members.

Kerridge maybe the other one?

Weitering would be great. Butcher Kerridge not so much.

I'd like it to be a young player committing longer term - C. Curnow, Byrne, JW, even Cripps extending again.

The icing on this cake would be Daisy announcing he's hanging them up at the B and F but that's just a dream.

After watching last nights game and hearing references to a Mosquito Fleet I thought we could do with a pack of young dogs who are desperate at every contest then run to create options forward of the ball when they have won possession.

Speed Endurance Desire Comabtive Skillful.

We need to build our Mosquito fleet again.

Docherty is one, but he is in the backline.

Gibbs Cripps Curnow do the grunt work...Dalhaus McRae Libba
Murphy, Maybe Cuningham for outside speed and skill...tells me we need to build this part up.

Speed and quality disposal is what we need from our midfield.
