Who would dare group you oh masterly Great Dane, lord of cynicism and minimalistic irrelevancy?

You have downgraded from an actual freaky looking human clown to a kanine clown all in one day...

You are de-evolving.....

Time for me to hit the local pub for a quiet one.....

Just using some of your masterful work.

I have just about had enough of your sensible, logical and well thought out responses..

You're treading on very thin ice as it is....we wouldn't want anybody in here to get hurt, now would we moshe25?

....a Bit like the current carlton game plan....nobody has their feelings hurt let alone receive a bruise during a game.....Wally O'cock would be turning in his grave

The board have circled the wagons around Mick and he's managed to pull some of the players within the safety of the circle.

The rest have been stranded outside... left to fend for themselves with limited firepower. If the circle is breached, they will be blamed.

“Yes, it has stood up for 30 years, so I am probably a little bit more experienced than some of the people who might want to comment about it.”

There you go. Even though other teams have moved on since 2010 (and had succss) he is stuck in the past.

I don't think the result matters this week.

if we beat them by 12 goals are we suddenly okay? no flower way. nor if we lose this weekend, nothing changes. we should be using this period to seriously evaluate the list, as well as evaluate the club as a whole (as you have alluded to Synbad)

to the clubs credit, dropping Garlett/Waite etc.. and playing Bolt/Cripps is a step in the right direction IMO ... too much inaction for not achieving minimum expectations for far too long is why the club is in the shit (that includes the board, the players, the recruitment department etc..)

we can no longer afford to except the minimum standards as okay (and in most instances we have been accepting less the minimum standards)

The bomb has more chance of working with the Bolt and Hendo up forward than with Waite

I don't think the bomb is outdated... you just need the cattle to execute it

Hendo is smart enough to keep his head down but the Bolt may get curious and try sneak a look outside through an opening... not a good idea

Ha!

I reckon if we lose it will be a gigantic BBQ with everyone invited but most as steak not guests.

It would be worse than when capper kicked that goal at princes park for the bears to sink us by a kick on the siren.

I don't like seeing my blues lose, but it may need to happen for things to change

Blues’ football chief Andrew McKay had said through the week that ''the coaches had a meeting with the leaders a couple of days ago and said: ‘Look, is everyone on board with this game style? Go away, get feedback from the group’.''

After a team meeting on Friday morning, Malthouse declared he had not consulted the players earlier in the week. ''I haven’t had a meeting, not at all,'' he said. ''My meetings with the players are about the strategies, which have just concluded [on Friday]. That meeting happened today. I don’t know where that rot has come from, in terms of my meetings.''

Well, our season would be over. There'd be no finals.

Sticks, will he leave early?

What's the chances MM gets sacked, 25% ..? Our list will get cleared out, we'll play kids and no one will dare mention the words tank, but we will all know we are.

Mick wouldn't get sacked only resign if he thought the club wasn't going to support a proper rebuild.

I think he's not the man to oversee a rebuild unless we bolster the assistant and development coaches and general football department spending.

What we are currently found by paying Mick a lot and the rest bugger all has helped send us backwards.

We had some quality assistants.
They didnt fit the bill. For starters, they were thinkers who would dare speak up. Cant have that.
Its not about money, Its about the personalities.

Forget about who we have appointed, but I can't remember the last time we actually went through the proper process when selecting a coach. Perhaps Ratten aside, we've always looked for the big name and the quick fix.

The lack of process is a huge part of the problem for mine.
