Condolences Danny - the reasons why we barrack for Carlton are very important - as are the reasons we thankfully never barrack (thankfully) for the filth.

Let’s hope we can pull of 17 for those that are no longer with us - and for those that are, because of the ones no longer with us.

Agreed.

Should have been 6 weeks just for being the AFL's number one flog.

Sorry for your loss also.
Never easy loosing a parent, especially one so influential.
Glad we thrashed those hoops for her.

Sorry to hear the news Danny. Hopefully you take heart that the Blues played possibly their best game in 20 years in the spirit of your Mum. 97 years requires resilience and a lot of toughness. Hope you're all doing OK.

If you heard a guy go absolutely ape sh1t at the umpire when Stengle wasn't pinged for throwing the ball/incorrect disposal, it was me.

Went back and saw the replay and not one of those imbeciles on Ch7 bothered to mention it

I know I'm right...I'm right aren't I????

That was a fun night at the footy. Genuinely fun. We are genuinely a good team and it feels really good. The semi rise with Ratts over a decade ago felt like I always hoped we were good without genuinely believing it. I believe it now.

Highlight of the night was Owies nailing Tuohy. There was a touch of embarrassing behaviour here as well. Dance a jig for us you leprechaun! may have been yelled. I don't regret it. The over celebrating from round 7 was remembered.

Can't add anything that hasn't already been said. They were all brilliant. It's going to be tough to select 23 soon. A great problem to have

I have to say I've enjoyed listening to him on the radio this season, and I hated him when he was our coach.

I watched the replay last night. Such a complete performance. The belief is really strong with this team.

Geelong looked old and slow. They might scrape into the 8 with their games at Pork Barrel Park but they'll be making up numbers.

Thought I might park this one here:

34 years ago today - two miracles happened- Carlton beat Geelong after being 41 points down at half time. I wasn’t there to see it - as my wife was a little busy that day giving birth to our first born daughter (Alexandra - after the great man of course)

Loving your teammates. Looking after your teammates. Celebrating the little things. Being happy for everyone. Total buy in to a common team goal. Belief.

Been decades since I’ve seen us so well connected as a total unit. Absolute pleasure to see. Long may it continue.
