Yes, it was.

Honey is played to develop his HF craft because he has strength and is strong (have a look at last week's training photos), he's a unique specimen. He's super quick. Can take a mark and kick straight from 50. Any wonder why he has been getting games when he's fit?

I think on the way to Marvel Stadium to watch the footy you took a wrong turn and ended up at the cinema and watched a Marvel Superhero movie.

Either that or you're in love.

Seriously tho mate, he has some potential but he's been given plenty of chances and he just hasn't taken them. He can continue to develop in the Twos, perhaps in a more responsible position, like on-ball.

WCE will be licking their lips at meeting Inverse-Collingwood this week.

I’m usually stupidly optimistic but this week I can see 4 possibilities of which 3 will leave me concerned:
1) We lose - Disaster
2) We make hard work of it but win (like North, GWS games) - Reinforces the concerns from last 2 games and reminiscent of Bolton era
3) We win convincingly and think our problems are solved (our psychology over the past 2 decades)
4) We win convincingly and recognise that this was good but against a weak team; and the next block of 5-6 tough matches will determine our worth (before the next block right up until the end of the year, and beyond)

I dont know if Honey will make it.

The point of my post is we have a void at HF, and the first choice (Martin), second choice (Cuningham), third choice (Cottrell) are all out injured and the MC are selecting kids to develop.

I pointed out Honey's attributes that suit the HF role, and needs development in 2nds, but the cupboard is bare. Its pretty obvious why he's being selected imo.

We are developing too many kids in the seniors imo Honey Durdin Motlop Hollands and Cowan. Im glad we are developing them, but the seconds is where the basis should start. Unfortnately in the seconds, due to 13 out injured we cant expect the 10 VFL players (and some of them are injured too) to play the same game plan as seniors for obvious reason.

In what bizzaro universe does Kennedy get dropped from a side that has Honey & Kemp in it?!

It’s great that Doc & Saad are back…..assuming they are actually fit to play.

Would have dropped/rested E Curnow before Kennedy.

Maybe Chugga has, graciously, offered to complete the remaining 2-4 weeks of Doc’s recovery?

Well, obviously it is Kenndy's fault he was played out of position in defence, so naturally he should be dropped. Oh, and Honey should stay in because...ummmm
And let's see it's better Kennedy out than Hewett who is a shadow of his best playong self right now because....
( insert makey- uppey here)
And why put Fog in just because he's playing great and Honey isn't.
Bt yeah
Doch and Saad back is kind of miraculous.
