How can we score when we cant get the ball in our forward line? Our game plan is not going to help the forwards we have. Slow stagnant footy does not work for us.

I think this game is showing how slow our midfield is.
We've got Fisher on Simpkin and although Fisher is getting the ball he has no damage to the opposition.
We really need to target a quick inside mid in this years draft.
If the speeds are to be believed about Kennedy, we are really missing him and/or Walsh today.

To slow, lack intent and shit skills pretty well sums it up for me . Major improvement needed in second half.

Just once I would like to see him do a football act where he didn't stuff it up.
Scared of contact same as Fisher.

Not enjoyable to watch. It’s a small forwards game in 2023 look at last night. We are spoilt with 2 genuine star forwards why try and stretch with 2 ruckmen.

Kicking skills still terrible. Get it in quickly. Being outmuscled, a lot of our players look like they've never seen a gym.

Gov, Weiters, Newman, Young sparing our blushes.

Midfield getting destroyed. Will be better with Kennedy and Walsh back, and Crippa (?), Cerra (eye) and Hewett (hand) more than 50% fit. Hope we can work the match ups around and at least get closer to break evens.

Runners and small forwards awful. LOB, JSOS, Fisher working hard but in their own head and can't do anything right. Hope they can wipe the slate clean during the break. Honey, Durdin anonymous, if we can get anything at all from them we will win.

Tall forwards good, rucks serviceable, rookies doing well.
