The counter argument to that is Richmond wouldn’t have 3 flags if it wasn’t for Short, Broad, Graham
All the blokes that do their role. That’s the thing
The best bottom 6 get you over the line every year.
Face it guys
Our bottom 6 are putrid

Our bottom six this week being Boyd, Cottrell, Newnes, Parks, Newman and Owies - so I agree. This week. Bring in Stocker, Kennedy, JSoS, McGovern, Dow, MacDonald, Kemp, Cuningham or Marchbank and I don’t agree.

I don't know how you missed Fisher, Setterfield and Durdin vs Freo, and Durdin last week was missing again.

A counter argument to your own argument?
You're driving in circles around the reality. The bottom 6 don't get you success. The top 6 don't get you success.
A well coached, balanced list that has luck with injuries is in the best position. As Richmond have demonstrated, you can still have the highest paid, most influential player and have a balanced list.

As for our list, it's as strong as most if we have a run of luck with injuries. You just focus on the negatives.

Martin simply does not impact enough and he is soft at the contest.

What’s are %BV
You overate the list like a lot of fans and media
Voss hopefully will be able to devise a game plan to match it with the best but I seriously don’t think we have enough talent.
I hope I am proved wrong.
As you and I agree though you can’t sack Voss until he and his coaching staff have had a decent crack at it

Yeah early days and he has us 4-2 with plenty to work on but a big chance to go 7-2. No reason we cant win the next 3. Let's see how we go. I am sure you will find a way to downplay that if it happens though.

As BV said, some luck with injury will go a long way. Look at Charlie....he's just getting going and is 5th in the Coleman.

Stay positive

I think we are more likely to be 4-5 than 7-2 but my spirit has been tainted by seeing us live against Freo and how bad we were around the ground.

Hopefully it was an aberration.

Easy - 9 or 8 into 6 don't go. Also, the others have runs on the board with previous games so escape for now.

Can someone please put up the MVP voting poll? I'm trying to put the game out of my mind.

Surprised Newnes didn’t get any votes for Freo…

Keogh is partly right that our bottom 6 isn't good enough. But it's not the bottom 6 of our best 22, it's the bottom 6 of our best 32, or 35 or whatever. First two games of the season we were getting contributions from top to bottom and many were satisfied with our depth, probably because the names not on the team sheet used to be regulars. Now once again we've been decimated by injuries in all the most vulnerable areas of the squad, and we're realising why those former regulars became depth players. Whoever mentioned good injury fortune as critical to success was right, as Richmond have demonstrated on both sides of the ledger. The system only gets you so far, you need top talent across the ground. Of course it isn't all luck, and we reap what we sow by recruiting players with bad injury records.
