So is this a realistic attempt to mark? Or to take out a defender?

That photo makes it look like Roughead was blocked from running at the ball.

In other words if the jumpers were reversed we'd all be filthy if we didn't get a kick for blocking.

Thomas definitely makes it look like he's blocking back.

If Eleni @#$%&! Gluftis can't bounce the ball, either piss her off or get her to throw it up. What happened to recalling bad bounces? Today she bounced a couple straight to McEvoy or Roughead and called play on?
With the 6,6,6 rule, mistakes like that can have a huge impact on the game.

I haven't been here for a while but isn't this the much esteemed Blue Vain, TA's famed voice of reason, and, dare I say it, a tone setter for the forum. My god, you've slipped down the totem pole. I've seen more than a few poor bounces called play on in my time but I can't remember such a coarse reaction before, especially from a top end poster. A sign of the times, I suppose.

Forget the photo. It’s misleading. Watch the incident on tape. Pure leap int Thomas with no real attempt. If it was Casboult - he’d be penalised 50.

Exactly Ck. If you are shite you are shite. Covering for a shite umpire because they are female is prejudicial. It assumes that no female could really cut it on an equal level and so they need protecting. That is bias in a professional job open to both sexes. She was crap...call it out as we do with any crap umpire and there are plenty of 'em.

As a vegan, I'm offended by the use of cauliflower in that context

Well I'm offended by that. We sent you some lovely little cucumber sandwiches, some delicious canapes..
Not to mention the strawberry shortcake.

They have three players in the team of the week and we have none.
They must have thrashed us by 100 points.
JOM played a whole game and is a fair inclusion.
Shiels and Sicily played half a game each. Surely someone across the league played better than that.

And Mitch Robinson gets a guernsey. FMD we could use him in the team.

Seriously...

that first Hawk goal...when Plowman
came inboard to Walsh... wow...!

Simpson was in the wing running...not
only was it the wrong option...but the
delivery to Walsh was horrible...!

just frustrating... that's all....!

kindest regards tommi
