If O’Shea has a shocker I’ll be into both
Of you blokes
Why not pick the Schu than pick this potato

Meanwhile Abbott a product from Grovedale played well last night

Plenty of players in the GFL better than O’Shit

Well, that strikes fear into my heart.
Not that I give a rats arse but why would you be into me? Do you think I select the team? Do you think I'm a recruiter at the club?
I'm the last bloke to defend O'Shea but Schumacher is playing on limited game time while coming back from injury. Yet you want to play him in the seniors? At least the coaches are looking after the future of the players.

OShea bloody hell :banghead:

Tall defenders Jones, Plowman, Weitering, Silvagni are all injured.
Macreadie has just played 70% game time in the 2's after a 10 week absence from footy, so he's underdone.

The cupboard is bare. Other than Tall forwards Kerr and levi, there are no tall defenders other than O'Shea.

Schumacher at 189 and skinny can't be expected to be ready to play tall post in the next level, he is too small for as a 3rd defensive tall, only recently starting showing good signs, and just learning the caper.

I'd like Schumacher to be given a taste this year, along with The King but in a position and against an opponent they would be more suited to.

Plenty of games left to introduce them.

Rowe and Marchbank in the key positions. Don't need O'Shea. Schumacher then could still come in.

I think Schumacher has some physical developing to do before we throw him out there against an AFL team. Maybe next year but he's really more likely to be ready in 2020

Not sure I've ever said anything good or bad about O'Shea...

Tell me you weren't really a teacher?

Geelong selected Ryan Abbott with pick 69 in the 2016 National draft. Should we have passed on Kerr at 65, maybe but maybe not. Either way can't see how O'Shea is in the discussion re Abbott's non selection by Carlton given O'Shea was taken with Carlton's only pick in the Nov 2017 pre season draft!

But please carry on...

Would prefer Kerridge, Kerr or Levi having a go down back than O'Shea. Oh well. Let's hope he shoves it right up all us armchair critics.

Levi can't defend anything but a slow gorilla.
GWS gorilla is too fast for Levi, and he's not playing

Can Kerr play back? I thought he was a lead up forward and its his surprise lead that gives him a break.
I wonder if has had enough training, let alone ability to defend a mobile tall.

Kerridge, (along with Graham) didn't play yesterday...maybe he may have last minute call up to possibly play against a player 5-10cm taller than himself. Hence O'Shea.

The cupboard is bare.

...he could come in, but against a red hot team of fully developed players The Schu might get squashed, or injured. Then we would be claiming the MC dont protect our kids.

I dont know if Im right or wrong, but Im trying to find reason why the MC would select OShea
