I wish Pickett would back himself and take them on. He has the burst to do it. If you get caught, so be it, but he'll never know how good he can be unless he backs himself

We've dragged them down to our level.

Essendon* are great when they can free run on the outside but once a side plays them in close they near always struggle.

Didn't take our chances and lucky Essendon* missed theirs.
Couple of good signs from Pickett and some good run from BB.
Still too many people not doing enough.
Jones well on top of Daniher that quarter.

I used to get emotional about these games but I have discovered I don't care if we win or lose any more. Our 'brand' of footy is crap. We brought in four runners and haven't run the footy yet. Why bring in pace and then persevere with over possessing it and then bombing it long?
Bewildering.

I hope we have the legs to see it out. It's the only reason I can see for not running. The old Muhammed Ali rope a dope.

Encouraging game again from SPS.

If we stop kicking it to the junkies in our forward 50 we might just have a chance...

That Tippenwhatever goal in the first qtr was one of the worst plays I have seen from the CFC. Pissweak effort from several players, just watching him and allowing him to dictate terms. So f....ing frustration.

SPS roaming around and doing lots of nice things. Jones continuing his resurrection. BB zippy, and Levi doing ok. Guys like Lamb ain't gonna take us to the promised land though, and Murphy's F50 entries are nearly always poor, you just know he'll butcher it.

Wish we played them 4-5 weeks ago when we were playing with a high level of enthusiasm and commitment.

Murphy is a shadow of the player he was. He is not an inspiring captain. How can someone with more than 200 games kick six metres and think it's going to be a mark.

Is Gibbs being tagged this week? It isn't obvious on the TV. He's been very quiet.

You may be right about Lamb, but we play so many behind the ball that being a forward in our team is a difficult ask. Generally there are at least an additional 2 or 3 defenders against our Forwards.

Scrapped our way back in it. Such a shame we are awful going and up forward.

SPS playing well. After an iffy start, Jones too.

Simmo, Murphy. No comment.....

Been in good form lately. Will be a very damaging player after a few pre-seasons and some more support in the midfield.

Don't give a rats toss bag how you spell it or pronounce it, it was one of our worst efforts for the year.
