Seeing is believing.A picture is worth a thousand words.......................im like Frank.I have heard it over and over. One rebuild after another, new beginning etc etc I aint no spring chicken and it gets bloody tiresome after awhile.Same stuff on repeat ad nauseum.just hopin' the new crew know what they are doing. The one redeaming feature of the season has been the fact that all the new blokes put there heads over the footy.Got the fealing the one indisputable characteristic of new players to the club is courage.Thats a good start.Weed out the squibs and build from there.Thats what i think,or should i say hope.Unfortunately lack of class can be overcome with emotion for only so long.

The Carlton Football Club..................Now Always Forever.

Don't be Silly Crimm not worth debating if you are doing that
As if I was advocating some stupid unintelligible rant I wasn't and surely people know my history of posting that I'm not one of the hysterical ones
What I wanted is a reflection of the disappointment of supporters to an insipid performance against an ordinary team I thought he should have gone harder and leave aside the corporate speak and leave the supporters under no doubt that we were going to be harder and more hard nosed and anyone not wanting to do the hard yards could leave or would be jettisoned

Yesterday highlighted the lack of talent and poor players mindset that's dogged this club since the early 2000's.

I'm glad the offseason is here as we need to bring in players that are talented, hungry, and most importantly, have a chip on their shoulder so every week they run out and represent the Navy Blues it's nothing short of 100% effort

If Geelong go on to win the flag we can say we defeated the premiers & lost to the wooden spooners in the same season. Has that ever been done before?

Just such an innovative footy club

Agree, I'm sick of this rebuild talk and hearing that next year will be better. It's all noise until something actually happens, and nothing of note has happened on field for almost 20 years.

If you haven't seen improvement in what we've done this year your head is lodged in your freckle.

Are you saying we were tanking? If so he can FRO

Our forward set up and entries for most of the season were very similar to Dr Strangelove... won't be happy if this shit continues next season.

Don't think it hurts to show supporters that a team who has one won game out of 11 at the end of a season after losing to bottom two sides in the last 3 weeks that publiclly he isn't happy and that everyone is on notice that we must do better and those who have or will not get on board can go

We have a whole pre-season to punish them. Ranting after the last game serves no purpose.

I don't see anyone bagging the entire season

Meaningless talk, yes we're better than last year but so what? Wow, we didn't win the wooden spoon, let's celebrate! How low our expectations have become.

The point is that in the context of the last 20 odd years it's been continual failure, every year including this year.

Alas he chose to talk about setting higher standards in the off season when clearly a half baked incoherent rant with spittle flying over the assembled press corp was clearly the way to go.

Actually, scratch that, it's a pity Bolts didn't execute at least three players at the presser, it was the perfect forum to show guys like you he's serious . He owes you that much!

I couldn't give a @#$%&! about yesterday
Nearly as much as some of the players
You got to be a [REDACTED] club to be paying 2 duds 1.1 mill next season
That's not Bolton nor sos fault
We have picked up 4 good young kids this year
McKay hopefully will make it 5 next year
Keep going to the draft over the next 3 years or so picking quality kids
Like they said they would

If they make a play for That Gold Coast bloke I'll just about give up on the club
Just catching up with you Cimm
Saying one thing and doing another when it's wrong is far worse than a lot of things that society judges harshly

Last year we had the worst coach with the worst game plan going around and a bunch of players who didn't believe.
How could you not improve.
My issue is that they haven't improved any where near enough .
And not one player brought to the club last season has made any sort of impact.
This will hurt us for the next 3-4 years.
Whiley Boakhurst Jackst Smith Tutt Dick Jones Gowers Foster DVR all busts
1/4 of the list no impact what so ever.
How can that be
It will hurt as did the 2004 crop .
You can't change 10 players and not have 1 improve and step up

"Whiley Boakhurst Jackst Smith Tutt Dick Jones Gowers Foster DVR" all Malthouse busts.

Bolton has ushered in Weitering, C Curnow, Plowman, Silvagni, Cuningham, Lamb and Sumner. Plus the older Phillips, Kerridge and Wright.

Why worry about what Malthouse presided over two years ago? We have moved on and now have another window of opportunity in the next three months to add even more.
