Watson won't make us better, but if Jones has another bad game then maybe we have to make that swap. Can you imagine a slower forward line than Watson, Casboult and Henderson?

I had a bad feeling during the preseason that Rowe was going to have a shocker and unfortunately it's working out that way. What do we do? Drop him and play Hendo back? The problem is that the only time we look any good is when Hendo is leading up. I think we might have to keep playing Rowe, at least until Jaksch comes back.

Anyway, we're shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic. We're simply crap. Not fit enough. Not smart enough. Not hard enough.

On the positives......who will be the #1 pick in the Draft this year...?

To clarify ABNS, my line up would look like so:

FB: Byrne Jamison Rowe
HB: Tuohy Henderson Docherty
CC: Yarran Gibbs Simpson
HF: Bell Everitt Murphy
FF: Menzel Casboult Watson

RR: Wood Cripps Judd

Int: Curnow Tutt Buckley
Sub: Walker

I think that this is probably the best that we can come up with at the moment. Looking forward to the return of MK and or Warnock because we are getting smashed in the centre square, or at least that is how it looks to me without seeing any stats. I can't understand why Carratzo & Ellard are even still on our list. When we have so many players who need to lift, including,: Jamison. Rowe, Gibbs, Murphy, Menzel, Casboult , Wood, Tuohy and Henderson it is no wonder we are struggling. Half of of a starting 18, or more if you include Carratzo & Ellard.

We are in big trouble this week. The bombers at the start of seasons for the last few years have been flying. The thing they do best it shutdown space. Full ground team defence.
That just happens to be the thing that kills us. We don't have a way to combat it . We are stuffed and it could be a huge loss. The wheels may completely fall off.

Who is playing close to or at their potential? I am thinking Docherty, Simpson, Tuohy, maybe Bell and thats about it.

I have very little interest in this game or any other at the moment.

Reading this thread gives me the feeling we are back in 2003.

This is so wrong.

We have to fight. We have to find a way to win!

From the MM era he's lost:

Waite kicks 6-7
Betts another 3
Garlett 2
Robinson 1

From another era they've lost:

Kennedy kicks 10 goals
Grigg another couple
Jacobs 40 HO in AA form and a goal
Hampson out injured

Our kids have gone or failed to evolve.
Risks on X factor.
MM says we are not a club anyone wants to come to: we are unattractive.

WTF has happened to my club?
Am I wasting my time?
Is this a dead end street?

Coach tells me there's no light as no one wants to come to my club.
What's Jeannie got to say about that? Mathieson? Kerry's?
The board is useless because we are going backwards.

Heraldsun publishes bullshit last Monday with quotes MM wants a contract.....and Robbo chief writer of footy heraldsun admits the HS stated old stuff but didn't put it that way......and they are baiting us.

MM should stand aside this weekend if he can't move the players' hearts and minds for a win for the loyal supporters.

I want to talk to the boys. I'm sure the players can devise a plan to beat these cheats.
If they can bleed we can kill em.

Look at the names on our list. Look at our first 25 minus Kreuzer Jaksch and Thomas. Can Warnock find something deep to demand a spot this week to show some fight for the club for his future?

I'm in despair because I can't do anything about this. I'm feeling sick about this. I want to fight this weekend. My kids believe.

Just watched the 60 minutes report on the big banks standing over farmers. Reminds me of Evans and his Commission standing on our clubs throat squeezing out our last breath.

I refuse to believe we will lose by 80 points. That sort of margin is from bygone eras of rebuilding with retreads in the Pagan era, and the Ratten era of down hill skiing.

Come on MM show some smarts and move some smarts.mi want a win. If not an honourable loss which gives us hope and turns the season around to give us hope we will beat the kids at Stkilda GWS, GCS, Doggies, the usual good chance against the Cats Kangas Freo Pies and next one against the Tigers.

#BELIEVE is there a chance?

I like jimmaes team, but Id prefer to start with Walker and sub him out when he tires because he's an athletic freak.

Come on Bluebaggers.

I strongly believe that we will be very competitive and be in front by the end of Q1 with Judd, Gibbs and Murphy all with 10+ Disposals.

What happens in the next 3 Quarters is irrelevant at the moment to this Carlton footy Club!!

We Should start calling ourselves " The First Quarter Specialist team "

The irony less than 2 weeks ago it was looking like we would have them on toast as a result of a guilty verdict.

Now we will be pleading for mercy!

I should note this is currently what I'm thinking for selection:

FB: Byrne Jamison Rowe
HB: Docherty Henderson Tuohy
CC: Yarran Gibbs Simpson
HF: Bell Everitt Murphy
FF: Menzel Casboult Armfield

RR: Wood Cripps Judd

Int: Curnow Walker Buckley
Sub: Boekhorst

Six: Carrazzo, Jones, Smith, Tutt, Ellard and White.

Run them off their feet. Deal with their tall forwards and make them man up in defence because we won't be kicking to Levi that often and he'll look to bring it to ground most of the time.

Everyone working to their strengths.

Bit radical jimmae.

The coach has said we have no run and you've selected runners.

Do you think it will catch on?

Yes...I'll take that.

Don't want to take it out on Jones, but I think it may just add a little fuel for him to succeed.

I love that team....given the list we have, whose available and what's happened in the l2 previous rounds. I wouldn't have the balls to drop Jones, and can see the need to drop Carrazzo but would I drop him.

Let's see if MM knows what it takes to beat these cheats.

Will our leaders run all day and drive the rest with them. This is Anzac stuff we were reading about in earlier posts from 2nd effort.

Come on....more than 1 Qtr and do it for 4 till you drop...let's see what Buttifant has made of you and if MM can manage rotations with his MC.

Jones needs more miles in the legs and we can't afford him fading out of the game at the moment.

We're too shit to execute it and they'll be waiting for us.

...we've done it for two weeks...can't see it changing.

Have gone in too tall twice...lost effective runners early and replaced them with Clem...who was cooked quickly. Effectively we have two or three less runners, everyone is knackerred within a quarter or two....surprise surprise.
I was convinced our three emergencies would come in against WCE ...what an idiot I was. ...and then to hear the presser saying we had no runners..

AND our players don't have BALLS...

Hey Bill can you send this to MM, MC, the Board and the Heraldsun?
He might listen then.

If MM repeats the mistakes of the first 2 rounds and plays Russian Roulette again he may lose my support.....depending on how we perform of course.....but then again history has a knack of repeating.
