"It is pleasing to note the rate of injuries across the league reduced in 2014," McKay said.

"Carlton has worked hard in the area of injury prevention and we welcome the AFL's work in this area to improve the welfare of our players."

It just reads like they needed to deflect a perceived public perception, but I don't know that Carlton has been copping stick for injury management beyond us forum junkies.

People have noted our injuries over the last two seasons, but nobody has written an article torching the club? They should be feeling bulletproof.

Warnock out for the year ,another rookie to be elevated .Probably will never see Knockers in a NAVY Blue Jumper again ,will be traded or delisted at the end of the year( heres hoping) harsh but true

so warnock has probably played his last game for carlton.

i think it's quite poetic that it was mick's last game too.

Its the smart thing to do... a backup that doesn't take up much salary cap space until we draft/develop a replacement.

..agree, time to go, knockers.. ....he's done very well for himself over his seven years with the club, even a minimum wage for him now is overs..
