Thinking about a membership this year, only to be more sociable within the Carlton group. Do we have a social club still at Etihad and MCG?

Might head down the AFL Membership path otherwise.

+1, my first grandchild, a boy, was born 2 days ago and will be signed up as a baby blue member. Mum is a Carlton member too but dad follows Geelong and we might have a fight on our hands to influence him the right way. Can only try.

new total 31756 2/2/15.
I have been a member since 1971 and for the last 25 years,I have had a reserved seat at Princes Park
and now Etihad +MCG.This year the club decided if I want the same seats I have had for years that it will cost me $200.00 more .I can afford it and told them if they try it again ,they will lose me ,my son and a good friend I have been going to the game with him for 45 years .
How dare they ,I spend nearly $1000.00 a year as I have away seats also. I know a few people who are not buying any membership as they feel they have been cheated .THERE IS NO EXCUSE TO DO THAT

WAKE UP CARLTON DONT BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU.I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BUT I HAVE A GENUINE LOVE FOR THE CLUB :mad:

exactly the same predicament here. we used go in a group of 8 and 4 have decided to not renew as a result of what you have described. the other 4 are angling for slightly better seats but so far ( after repeated attempts via email - we did call and were asked to email) nobody at the club has bothered responding. not sure at what stage the people that are currently running this club will understand this shit is part of the reason we are 30k members behind collingwood.

That's disappointing. It amazes me that they try and do this to long time members.
I can understand new members having to pay the extra but not those who had held those seats long term.
I upgraded to a reserved seat this year and am still waiting to find out what seats i have been given. The cut off for last years members to renew was over 2 months ago so i dont understand why it is taking so long.
