Wood isn't a superstar, but he can mark and is more agile than Warnock.

Hope to see Graham given a chance to earn a spot on the list for 2015. No harm in giving him game time.

Liked the cameo of Johnson. Although I haven't seen last weeks game.

Now he is a 'kid' (at 27 y.o. & his 3rd AFL club, he's hardly a kid, by the way) who we think will make a difference for us.....

Not saying he shouldn't get a run with us, but it speaks to the fickle nature of footy following.

FWIW, I thought he was a smart choice in the rookie draft for us at the time and he's been terrific in the VFL. However, my expectations of him making a significant impact for us are moderate.

I understood the reasoning for him being picked up I just don't think he is very good.

Doesn't need to be very good in order to be superior to the bloke who played last week in the ruck.

Warnock was a liability.

I was wrong about him.

If he doesnt change and start jumping into opponents and dominating them with his height he aint worth jack.

He needs to gut run, show strength and compete for every tap. not wait for his opponent jump first for him then move aside.

Come on Wood: ultra reject.
I was happy we took him as a rookie.

We have done the full circle with our rucks ... we are back to a rookie doing our ruck work ... if we gave belief to Jacobs that he could have been one of our rucks with Kruezer I don't believe he would have left (I don't buy the club spin that he was home sick) ... but instead we gave our preference to Hampson and Warnock to justify the outlay ... this is what you get when you appoint unskilled people to run your football and recruiting.

I would play Jamison at full-forward. Can't see a matchup for him in defense where he won't have 5 kicked on him.

While Mick loses it in the coaches box no one will suspect a thing. See Ratts just opened another pack of Allen's lollies and threw an assortment of strawberries and cream, snakes and fake teeth in his mouth which was all a little disconcerting. My worry is if Mick gets hungry and pours milk over a bowl of rice bubbles then holds his ear to the bowl before completely losing it because there wasn't enough 'snap, crackle and pop'.

I'm rapt that Wood is playing. Warnock should never play for our club again. That he hits the tap outs to our opposition more than us is one of the main reasons we are so poor. Then he does nothing around the ground. Go Cam Wood!!

Pretty sure mick said, Johnson was keeping garlett out of the team...
Hopefully Graham can show something, not the kermit top...
Bell, Graham, McLean, curnow, Robinson and Ellard, unbelievable pace between these boys..
Still can't work out how Ellard and McLean continue to get a game...
Massive stage Friday night, try and get within 10 goals please boys....

True, but shows how bad we are.

At least now it looks like we are truly testing our list and getting an overall assessment of players prior to the end of the year.

..work rate.... ..I don't think too much of norf.. ..they're a slightly better version of our '11 season, but just as flaky.. ....if we out work them, we're right in it.. ..smart kicking to bolt, hendo and Menz and we can expose them.. ..they're like us, you can get a run of goals on them..

Gee Doc, I must have missed this Norf awesomeness - didn't see much of it in their loss to Brissy a few weeks ago. Very iffy team, we're in with a real shot, but must bring our A game, think our efforts v Geelong & Hawks recently.

You've gone all feral on Jamo, too. The best forward in the league got hold of him last week in a quarter when I 50's were 17 to 3. FFS, Southby/Doull/SOS rolled in together couldn't have kept Buddy to less than 4 goals that quarter with that sort of barrage. How many games has Jamo had 5 or more kicked on him? Maybe first game v Lloyd, other than that?

It's amazing that having spent a #1 pick, a number #19 pick, and #24 and late puck on three rucks, two are in the VFL, and one is constantly injured. The guy we rookied is starring at the crows, and Cam Wood is our ruck. Let's hope we don't spend high draft picks loading up on ineffective rucks again. Not many sides best ruckmen come high in the draft.
