Good luck with getting tickets tomorrow, members only get 4 hours to get in before the public.
Ticketing prices are different too, 7 pricing catagories with the cheapest in the back rows of level 4.

The one reason Duigan would deserve a game is his awesome bump on Cornes. His last quarter one percenters made a big difference resulting in two goals.

Is this the first Richmond v Carlton final since the 1982 grand final?

[quote="Navy Blue Horse"]No chance Warnock will be dropped. Thought his work rate was huge in the last qtr. a lot of it won't show I a stats sheet, but he was right in the thick of a lot of it.

Micks assessment of Kreuzers game wasn't glowing.

Out of Kreuzer or Casboult IMO.

Robbo was awful last night, but awesome against Richmond 3 weeks ago.[/quotes

watch out i said last week I rate warnocks more highly than Kreuzer and was baked

Nah, 2001 SF when Kouta did his knee a second time was the last time we played them and they played finals

I don't like our chances. Tigers have been setting themselves mentally and physically for this game for the last month. We have been scrapping every week just trying to get the process right. Our best football comes when the process goes out the window.

Tigers easily.

Let's hope it all comes undone for them for getting ahead of themselves.

That game in 2001 remember it vividly, was days after September 11.

I think we dominated eveywhere but the scoreboard, kept kicking behind after behind, got to 5 points, then they got a break and was it Rory Hilton who ran into an open goal?

I remember very well unfortunately, during the week there was the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers & Ansett Airlines collapsed

So rather than get the 9am flight home from Brisbane and watch the footy I had to drive home as flights, buses, trains etc back to Melb were booked out

So I listened to the game driving back from Brisbane and stupid me asked the lady at the hotel which is the best route back to Melb and she said along the Pacific Hwy - should have just looked it up myself and gone inboard through Dubbo with the hire car - didn't realise this until I hit Grafton and it was too late to change - bugger of a day :banghead:

Hey, at least we're catching up in the social media stakes. A couple of years ago we'd still be waiting on a fax from Couttsy.

Ticketing email just came through.

Been hitting refresh for 3 hours.

I am a child...

I was too young to remember the game but our PE teacher at Carlton PS had it on film and played it one time when it was too wet to play footy at school and I can still remember rewinding it when Nicholls and Southby got crunched - I went home and told my older brother about it, he gave Richmond two barrels on what he thought about them and its one of the most animated I have ever seen him (Southby was his hero), my brother was only 4 yo older than me but he instilled into me that other than Collingwood the Tiges were the side next to hate the most

I vividly remember the 1980 Qual Final when Richmond crunched us on the scoreboard and on the field, my hero Sheldon was Ko'd by Landy who cost himself a premiership medallion when he got rubbed out for the 1980 flag

1982 was the next time they really challenged us, we beat them twice in the H&A and then they touched us up in the 2nd Semi - but revenge was sweet in the GF

Yep I was still at primary school but I learnt to hate Richmond and still do

Lets stick it right up them
