Heppell, Winderlich, Fletcher and Dempsey are all definite outs.
Kommer, Colyer, Gumbleton and Bellchambers aren't 100%.

Play like we did in the last 3 qtrs. against the Tigers and we should belt them.
Play like we did against the Dogs, and they will smash us.

I would really want to smash them for 4 quarters.

I haven't bought a reserved seat in the AFL Members for this one, so I'm planning to "clear out" my own little area by around half-time if you know what I mean.

A poster last week, (can't remember who), levelled what I thought was way-over-top criticism of Brock.

Richmond v Carlton
9 Brock McLean (Carl)
6 Mitch Robinson (Carl)
5 Kade Simpson (Carl)
4 Andrew Walker (Carl)
3 Ed Curnow (Carl)
3 Brett Deledio (Rich)

Just sayin'

Yeah I remember him saying something about Brocky being a cancer on the team....he wasnt a regular.

I am not a big fan of Brock's because of his lack of pace, and becuase he doesn't run the other way and nullify his opponent...maybe because he can't... but I like all the other things he brings to the table.

Whilst he hasnt got much competition from the reserves he deserves his spot and that's it.

He played a great game last week. In the last qtr when Delidio went for that run from HBF to HFF Brock didnt give up the chase. Never looked like closing him down, but never gave up the chase. That impressed the @#$%&! out of me. He's playing like a leader.

I have no doubt he's not on any other team's radar, and can't see why he doesn't get another contract albeit for just a year. Year at a time is good.

Really rapt in Walker's game. He's been down for a long time now.
One of my favourites, so I give it to him when he deserves it, because he's also my kids' favourites too.
When he puts the pedal to the metal...he's a line breaker.
You can tell when he's "ON". showed leadership.

Curnow is MOST improved in 2013 for mine. Unbelievable transformation.
I mean this guy didnt seem to have a clue on what to do with the ball when he got it.
Now he closes down his opponent..he can run with all game, and gives it off to the best positioned most times.
Good hands and kicking within his capabilities.

Lets give it to these Bumbers this weekend.
They have some critical players out in Fletcher (he finds a way), Heppell (all class), Wilderwich (pace which cuts us up) and Dempsey (who starts attack from defense). Hurley back is a plus for them...and we have to kick or keep the high ball away from him, and hopefully Bellchambers doesn't play either (he does damage to our talls)

Lets needle them all game.
The Mexican Wave is a very funny idea...opening post of this thread.

This is a MUST WIN game. MUST.

Come on. I want 8th without AFL penalties...coz I want them to lose next years points before the season starts.

Bet M Hurley would not have the balls to touch Travis Bickle.

This game has been decided by the AFL and ASADA.

Good point about Curnow Bondi. He's slipped under the radar a bit, but in some ways he's having his "break out" year, (whatever that means).

Would Curnow hold the record for number of AFL games played as a Rookie without being officially elevated to the Senior List?

Thought about that earlier. He's at 47 at the moment. Has to be a certainty to be upgraded to senior list at the draft. Otherwise we have to move him on - which ain't gonna happen.

I dont know, but he might hold the record with the number of kms he's done as a rookie.
Unbelievable motor this bloke.

I know Jamo played on the rookie list for at least a couple of years as a nominated rookie.

I don't know why they don't think we'll all be on our best behaviour... :sly:

Does anyone know if they are cracking down on insults towards Essendon* on Saturday night?
