..other way around i reckon.. ..firstly, Sandi is an improved version of Knockers.. ..but even if he gets tap dominance, it doesn't automatically mean clearance dominance.. ..even fit and at his best freo have always been an avg clearance team.. ..and Sandi hasn't been fit and at his best in a long, long time.. ..for all that height, his contested marking isn't that good either.. ..hand and foot skills very avg, struggling back to fitness so his ability to cover the ground [like a mountain] is poor.. ..Krooz just needs to jump at him in the ruck, and then burn him off all around the ground..

..to be honest, i expect Sandi to spend considerable time up fwd..

Hmmm ... you can't have it both ways ... either we have a side thats good enough to cause trouble in September or we don't. Making the finals only to be ejected in the first week is a pathetic excuse for not taking risks at the selection table. There are players in the side that are not performing. For example ... Rowe. He and others have been given a good run the last few weeks ... so now ... why not try to improve the side ... why not shake it up. When you take risks you find out more about your players ... Now I know tricky Micky would like to make the finals (especially when he inherited a side that really should now be higher up the ladder) but if he is really about making this side better ... thats what he should be doing!

As for other comments about players in the vfl not knocking the door down ... I think those posters should go and have a look at the Northern Blues the last couple of weeks. There are several names that are up in lights and we need to start trying them out.

Pathetic by the MC. And yes it is as expected ... safe ... unimaginative and ultimately not in the best interests of the CFC. Even if we win against Fremantle ... and I hope we do (I'll be jumping for joy) ... in the long run it does not help when you don't take risks ... 1 or 2 changes would not stuff up the continuity of the side ... Pathetic by the MC.
