We're certainly not good enough to cover Betts, Yarran, Gibbs and Carazzo. We don't go very deep.

How good us bell. Missed a 15m kick cost us 50 and ran off like he didn't care.

How good is Robbo, blind handball to nobody have Port there first goal.

We have some dumb footballers.

Boots playing a great game so far

Not sure. If we kicked straight - especially from those in front we would be up by about 6 goals which would be about where other good teams would be against port at half time...

The Ruckmen seem to be negating each other at centre bounce, may as well sub off knockers and bring on Menzel mid way through 3rd I reckon

I'd say all of ours were in the first quarter, since then we have been killed.

He looked like he cared when he ran off - swore/hit hand...
But it is interesting - most div 4 players wouldn't make that error - just shows how much they are focussed on their instructions and specific tasks rather than playing the game...

Back line playing well - esp hendo and jamison. Getting the ball forward and taking marks inside 50 - just cant kick straight...

Impressed with Bootsma's defensive work, seems way better suited on the shorter opponent. Just needs to compose himself before he kicks and he'll be a good player.

Simple really. Not enough intensity or desperation. Collingwoods pressure from last night is what's required

Do Robinson and Lucas ever look before they dispose of the ball. Terribly dumb players.

Agreed. Still think he's a bit light on for real high pressure games. Another couple of years and he's going to be a serious player

This group doesn't care enough. Never will. They are happy to collect their paychecks and trot around.
It's the reason we lapse throughout quarters, drop easy games (st.kilda, gold coast etc) and will continue to be a mid table side for many years to come.

In a game like this I'm looking for possitives and momentum...signs that we are getting better. I look ahead at the next few weeks at what should have been lock in wins with us tuning up for the big guys. I wan't some candy!

What Im getting instead is a dose of anxiety and a feeling of impending doom. We are looking mighty shakey and I feel that any team should fancy their chances against us any time any ground. At this rate Brisbane will beat us easily next week. We can't even get the basics right. Even if we win this game today, even if we run over them, I wouldn't get too carried away.

I hate to say it but we need to clean out and rebuild. I'd suggest we start with getting players who can kick (field and goal) after all its called flamin' football.

18 shots to 9 is fair reflection of game

Should be another 2 goals up

Lack of leaders means no one pressuring them into caring. No one like J Brown making them scared to lose games.
