A good coach would not have been outcoached by Primus. I suspect that was the tipping point.

Was he outcoached or did he just stuff up horribly? Simpson on Pearce stands out as one of the most defensive and weak positionings of the year - all Port needed was a sniff and good teams wouldn't have given them that.

It makes you wonder whether we should adopt the rugdy league model of being more open with trades coaching appointments and sackings.
It would certaintly cut down on all the rumours

AFL 360 last night basically rubbished the whole story. Flatly denied by Swanny apparently. Video coming in a bit.

Agreed. cas can take a grab and do all the things we'd be looking at Cloke and his 1 million per year for .... They both kick like pants, so imo it has to be a no to Cloke.

I am not saying I want him at $1mil/year but lets not downplay one of the most influential players in the league

Ratts may have the boards support to stay for the rest of the season but i'd say next year would be a whole different thing !

Dawes and Cloke not doing much, Johnson and Krakouer to come back in and beat the top side without Swan.

They might be a handful anyway.

I think the last we heard from the club was Sticks on 4th of July:
