Carrazzo on Ricky Martin!!

Ratts is so damn Stubborn lol.. for Two years now, I been sending him letters, E-mails, Faxes, Phone calls, etc, begging him to Stop Screwing with Carrazzo. That guy is a Ball Magnet.... he needs to play in the Middle Circle and just stay there. He will get his hands on the footy every time...

Yet it really Frustrates me why Ratts insists on playing him anywhere on the Ground but the Center. Am I missing something??

Who is the only player in our list capable of getting 40+ touches? its Carrazzo. His Disposal has improved heaps from two years a go and he can kick few goals as well.

Throw him into the firing line and keep him there!!!!!!!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Those outs shouldn't matter if we're any good...beat them last year without Duigan & Jamieson by 103 points. Pretty confident about this game.

Warnock is covered.
HBFers are covered i would have thought.
Year before Russell was 2nd in the Nicholls.
Bower back from injury and we havent had him in 2 years.
Walker out but the enigmatic but very dangerous Waite is in.
Tuohy has come through since the last season opener!
Kreuaer is back....
IM BIG KEV EXCITED!!!
another season starting... we get to beat up on the hapless Tiges!!What more can a Carlton supporter ask for???

Son?
Have you played any AFL football ?
If Ratts had a dime for all those emails he receives from people in the stands telling him he cant coach ...he wouldnt be a carreer coach now!
Carrazzo might be a 40 touch player ... but stops his opponent from getting 11 touches and wins 30 himself... that in our book is a 41 touch player.... who trumps the 40 touch centreman Carrots is under your plan.

Richmond's potential round 1 team:

HB: Bachar Houli, Jayden Post, Chris Newman
C: Reece Conca, Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin
HF: Robin Nahas, Tyrone Vickery, Shaun Grigg
F: Adam Maric, Jack Riewoldt, Brad Miller
Foll: Ivan Maric, Nathan Foley, Brett Deledio
I/C: Brandon Ellis, Jake Batchelor, Daniel Jackson, Shane Tuck (sub)
Emg: Matt Dea, Shane Edwards, Todd Elton

People are saying our backline is looking ordinary, well take a look at theres. You would think if it is a clear night then Waite will have a picnic on Rance. Hampson will stretch Post for height and the crumbers in Betts and Garlett will smash Grimes and Morris.

Our midfield also looks way stronger on paper.

What about the Pushup King ?????

Really - I thought the nab cup suspension could be served in the VFL this weekend given the AFLs stupid rule tinkering. Oh well poor Jakey

I think his suspension is from last year's AFL season and not the NAB cup.

Could he not stop his opponent by playing in the middle rather than HB or HF?

with a weakened defense to start the year with, I think we all agree that getting our hands on the footy first is the Key. We also know Judd is not ready to get going yet and Robinson hasn't played much pre season.

Oh Crap, Wait i just got a message from RATS on my phone.... Carrazzo will Start the Season in the Middle wohooooooooooooooooooooo :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

Most of those emails are from the same people who booed Henderson last year and have been giving Hammer bronx cheers when he takes a mark.

Not me ... I was doubtful about Henderson ... but have always been a supporter of Carazzo. I am giving Hammer a bit more time before I start ranting. I won't even mention the B word that rhymes with Flower.

Love Henderson down back.
Bower will come good with stability, familiar surroundings and support.
Hampson needs to realize how big he is and attack everything.
Sorry, Carrazzo gets it, but most of the time he slows our flow or just turns it over.
Any which way you look he puts his team out of position.
If and only if he learnt about first option he would be a great asset.

Got a Tigers supporting work mate who was really talking up Richmond's chances of belting us next Thursday... Reminded him that neither Jamo or Duigan played the last time we played then in Rnd 15 last year, and we still belted them by 100 odd points...

It's nothing but a foregone conclusion that their mids will get enough supply and setup Riewoldt, Vickery and Miller to kick a winning score. If they can kick eight to ten goals between them, we can still produce 15 without Walker. If they go tall, our smalls and medium can exploit this advantage at ground level and hurt them on the rebound. It's almost like Yarran's ability to burn a side off half back isn't even a consideration for the media. Hardwick tagged him last year.

Carlton's list is still well ahead of Richmond. They have about 6 good players. Carlton (even with the outs) probably double that.

Since the Last Time we Played Richmond, this is what I believe they expecting improvement from:

** Ricky Martin: Supposed to take his game to the next level and will become an elite midfielder so perhaps he is the First player we need to shut down

** Robbie Nahas: No Longer an Eddie Betts Type of player but has now been promoted to play in the middle and is said to have improved quite a bit and can get a lot of the footy

** Jack Riewoldt: He is going to have a picnic against our weakened defense so perhaps he needs to be double teamed.

** Reece Conca: This boy comes so cheap at Super Coach but he has just been elevated to play in the middle and can not be left alone. Good player who has supposed to have improved.

** Brandon Ellis: A new kid with lots of potential & is said to walk straight into the team for Rd1

Compare this to our Team, What improvements have we achieved this Pre-season? who is going to take the next Step up and make a difference? will it be Hampson or the Return of Kreuzer? or will guys like Ed Currnow go one step further and become a very good midfielder?

Lets hear your opinions.......

He'll read the incoming ball well in defence and push up on the counter, but his kicks, while accurate, will get chopped off a bit because he can't spear the ball in over short distances.

Not worried about Nahas.
