Gee, I dont know about you guys, but Im really worried about the impact a win against Essendon* might have on our Perth supporters. If we do win, the players better be fired up for the week after, I just dont think they understand how it embarasses them.

They really owe our Peth supporters for the loss at Etihad.

Too right Brad. Our club really treats the interstae mob with contempt - management ignore the Sydney crew, while players treat games against Perth teams as a holiday.

You just don't know how it is, Brad.

They have two other teams that WA folk support, it's tough. Us Melburnians with our 9 other teams just wouldn't get it, and never will understand WA.

Won't somebody think of the WA supporters?

Being from WA, my list of most hated teams is pretty simple:

WEST COAST
Essendon*
Collingwood

the rest

Only a west Aussie knows what we go through over here.

OK ... I will admit it ... I am worried about the Bombers. They have no hope for the rest of the finals ... but they do tend to rise against up against us and play a bit of party football. By rights ... we are a much better team ... by rights ... we should thump them ... but count me in as the president of the nervous nellie club.

I will be so happy if we end up playing WC the following week ... I reckon we will beat them if we do ... then look out.

I can't stand the Pies .... Malthouse as a coach turns my stomach ... but a loss to Essendon* in the elimination will put me in hospital.

It's simple.

I hate Collingwood even more than I hate Essendon*.

But I can almost stomach a loss to collingwood. They are so much better than the rest of the comp at the moment.

I could not stomach a loss to that rampaging bunch of brave showponies.

Firstly, nothing will ever erase the 99 prelim from the mind of an Essendon* supporter. Just mention it to them and watch their facial expression. One of life's true pleasures.

Secondly - Crameri out is huge for them. He's the one player in their forward line who presents a match-up issue. Hurley is clearly a better player, but the match up doesn't present an issue. Crameri is good in the air very good at ground level and moves pretty well. With Crameri out it makes it easier for a backman, say Laidler or Duigan, to zone of and help out whoever is matching up against Hurley.

Thirdly and most importantly - if our lads can't can't switch on mentally, block out the opposition and go out and execute, serious questions need to be asked of them. All we've heard for two years is is how the finals losses are driving them, can't wait to earn a home final, winning a final is the next step etc etc. Well boys, the moment has arrived.

They fluffed their lines against Hawthorn pretty comprehensively. Time to let the performances speak for the group.

I wouldn't worry. They'd have me in solitary.

Looked like fletcher did his hammy against wc last week. Usually miss 3 games with them so i reckon he will be doubtful and if he does play he wont be as reliable as usual and he may even do it again and leave them short.

He is the one that bothers us. I hope he misses.

Bothers us?
He has been owned by many Carlton forwards in his life probably starting with the President.
I personally put Fletcher and Anthony Rocca as my two most over rated footballers who have played a (whatever) number of games.
Rocca a CHF who had 10.7 disposals per game on average?
Fletcher a defender who now runs loose as he has been humbled too many times?

yeah nah, Fletcher is a champion, actually he would be if he didn't play so dirty.
