Agree Punter. I reckon Mitch Robinson wearing Mickey Crisp`s famous no 12 would be the right match up.

Still no Sandilands, Mundy for Dockers

You could even say the chips are down at Fremantle.

Question is whether they will get a baking if they lose this game.

Not suprised that Sandilands and Mundy were not cherry ripe for this game.

I think the one weakness in Duigan's game is his ball handling below his knees. A few times he's over-run it, not taken clean possession or taken too long and caused a turnover. Something I hope he works at over the pre-season.

Spot on - he's dodgy down there! His left foot kicking is still pretty SANFL too.

Love him though and he'll be doubly valuable whan it gets tough in the finals.

If they played and gotten injured again, there would be snickers all round

And people are making his return to footy somewhat of a fairytale?

Waite & Armfield don't sound like they'll be fit for this week. Ellard hit over 78% game time (about the basic standard for an AFL midfielder) for the first time in months (yes, I'm ignoring the games where he was subbed in or out). He's not really fit either.

I'm 50/50 on Duigan being given a rest. That comes down to the status of White, Bower & Russell.

Davies was completely consumed with stopping one of - at any given time - Davey, Bate or Green in a game where he could have run rife off HB. He didn't, and he'll be exposed if he does that again next week.

Warnock needs to be on his toes this week (almost literally, to narrow the reach advantage) against a quality, if underdone opponent in Sandilands. Joseph showed he's still useful if you use him in the midfield.

Out: Ellard, Davies, Duigan, Houlihan
In: Carrazzo, Bower/White, Lucas, O'hAilpin

Sub from: Simpson, Scotland, Carrazzo (purely to rest one of them for 2.5 quarters)

If we brought in Bower, I'd move Thornton to defence, but if we brought in White I'd opt for Lucas, to balance out the run and match-ups. Would prefer to play Lucas through the middle & HF.

I know you've been on Ellard's case for a while, but they're hardly going to drop him after he had 18 possessions and three goals. We both know this.

For the last 3 or 4 weeks (prior to the Melbourne game) ... Ellard was performing poorly ... take a look at the stats. Not confident he will play that well in Perth.

Lose this and the MC will have to circle the wagon wheels.

Harvey is as cagey as they come, I wouldn't be surprised to see Sandilands name written up on the in's this week ... just in time to play the blues

Me either. I'm pretty sure both will be named, but wouldn't be surprised if Mundy is a late out.

The team flies out in an hour. We should be able to find out the 23 man squad soon.

Anyone seen this report re Waite?

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/sp ... 6112683687

News to me that he was 'tentatively scheduled to resume in the VFL in round 23' - I thought he'd be right to go for the Hawks game for sure. Gee it'd be nice to have a few injury free key position players.

Of course, when you read the article, there are no quotes supplied, and I don't actually know if he's basing this on anything credible.

According to the CFC website training is tomorrow at 11.00am Perth time at the WACA which makes perfect sense given that we are playing at Subiaco.........thanks heaps WA football commission or whoever is preventing us training at Subiaco. :banghead: :banghead:

Will try to get down there for a look and report back.

Highlights from Ratten's presser from Twitter....

-Waite did all the work this week and He’s a week to week proposition( not sure if that means he is not playing)
-Jamo and Hampson will be playing next week. Only question is at which level.
-Carrazzo could have played last week but decided to take a cautious approach(Sound like he is in)
-We can only control the games we play. Those teams to come will be good preparation for finals footy.
-Juddy and Murph may steal Brownlow votes off each other. Will be interesting
-Will be playing a bit of lawn bowls this arvo when we arrive and dinner together tonight.
-Jordy is ready to go, just doesn’t have the footy under his belt. The VFL bye hurt him.
