We need Dockers to beat Hawks tonight for a chance at top 4.
At the moment we are 1/2 a game above Egirls & Hawks. (Hawks yet to play this round)
1 more win will seal top 5 finish for us. Even if we win all remaining games, we rely on Hawks or Egirls dropping a game (Freo game is massive in the context of top 4) to make top 4.

The Run Home:

Carlton:
Melbourne - MGC
Freo - Perth
Hawks - Ethiad
BYE
Saints - MCG

Egirls:
Richmond - Perth
Melbourne - Ethiad
Essendon* - Perth
Lions - GABBA
Adelaide - Perth

Hawks:
Dockers - Perth
North - Tassie
Port - MCG
Blues - Ethiad
Bulldogs - MCG
Suns - Gold Coast

If results go as expected I have us playing Freo in 1st week of finals, then playing Egirls in Perth in 2nd week of finals.

You are correct, though on the other hand we could win 16.5 games and finish 5th, which would be quite unlucky given that 16.5 wins normally gets you 2nd or 3rd, and in some seasons 1st. Mind you, the fixture is a joke, how easy is the Eagles fixture this year (let's not call it a draw, that makes it sound like it has some randomness about it, which there has NONE!).

Thinking about this further, finishing 4th actually isn't that much better than 5th, if the Hawks are the team that finish 5th. We would face Collingwood week 1, and then most likely Hawthorn week 2. Ouch.

Hawks are no certainty to finish 3rd by the way. 5th could keep us playing in Melbourne.

Was cheering hard for the doggies. Just wasn't to be.

WCE have certainly ridden their luck the past 2 weeks. Still, can't see them dropping any of their remaining games unfortunately. They are having a blessed run on all sorts of fronts this year.

Any chance we have for Top 4 rests with the Hawks imho. Though it must be said we're up against it with them too.

Basically a LOT would have to go right for us to secure top 4 come the end of the H&A.

If the Dockers beat the Dawks tonight, then top 4 will be in our own hands...

I also think we'll find it very hard to beat the hawks. They're too disciplined and simply don't @#$%&! up.

The sooner we stop relying on others to do things for us and start winning the games we "should", the better we will be. We are just not good enough.

With a full side, I would give us a chance against the Eagles at Subiaco in the semi final...theyre not THAT unstoppable there, Port and the Gold Coast gave them trouble there

It will be sweet revenge if we can knock both of them off in the finals.....

I reckon WC will drop one and it'll come down to the Hawks game.

If you lose just 5 games in a season, if that's how it pans out, you're good enough just dead set stiff. You'd be favourites for the flag in some years with that type of record.

Bloody Warnock and that kick against Geelong.
