All games will be tough as each team is fighting for a spot in the 8 with some coming into "good" form now, ie. Doggies!
How good are we? Well if we keep top 4 spot, we have earned it!

Add Freo (Away) and Hawthorn before the bye.

Top 4 would be great but not the end of the world. I would prefer to finish 5 or 6 if it meant that we enter the final all loaded up on training and in peak nick
Id prefer that we do a mini pre season type thing for 3 weeks around the ideally placed bye. Ideally we do that while cemented in the top 4 but if we arnt cemented in the top 4 id hate it if we sacrifice a heavy training period to win those extra games to make top 4.

The bye second last round is the thing that will allow us to make an impact in the finals even from 5th or 6th IMO.

Ok, we know we are in the top FIVE teams in the comp, but we still have work to do to get in the top 2 or so, as shown last week top 4 is no certainty, and may come down to a showdown with the Hawks who we cant beat to save ourselves.

10 goal wins against easybeats and also-rans are certianly much better than being a bottom four side, but we are still yet to do anything on the big stage when it counts. So yes, keep a lid on it!

We haven't played them this year BBD.

I think it was 30 years ago we kicked a record 30.30 against them. That must count for something in your books? :wink:

2011 is not 2010, 2009 2008 2007 etc etc.

We also beat them the last time we played them in a GF....so bring on those feathered creatures we have won more games against than lost.

I reckon we'll smash them this time. No Roughy allows us to focus on Buddy, and our midfield bats deeper than theirs.........

Whoever is stroking the blokes down at the club at every opportunity, please @#$%&! off, because you're causing swelling in both heads.

Two things worry me currently;

1. Injuries to key players
2. How flat/tired/sore we look & feel

Apart from that ... were fine. :lol: :lol:

ps. I'm trying to make myself feel better right now and this place isn't helping. :hitcomputer:

The "Can you smell what the Blues are cooking" slogan should be redone for next year...
