never mind SB.
I hear Fev is available.
He's certainly a solid option for down back.

If Vickery plays at FF and Jack at CHF for the Tiggers I do not feel comfortable that we have the height to counter Vickery other than Watson. That's when we will need a good defensive strategy to fill the holes in the backline corridor from our rucks. Let them lead out to the flanks.

I'm guessing we will still win this one in the midfield...and our forwardline looks too strong for them with Waite, Walker, Betts, Garlett...all goal kickers...and then there 206 playing in a FP who they can't match.

Keen as mustard

One more sleep

Is there actually any Reliable mail saying Murphy will miss?

I reckon he will be really keen to get a good start under his belt and will still play if sore.

I think Watson needs to play.

The 3 debutants for Richmond will not be slouches. Conca is as feral as Martin, but will get his hands on it.

Bower took part in Carlton's final training session on Wednesday, as did Simon White, Bret Thornton and Matthew Watson, with any one of those three in line to get the tough job on Riewoldt if Bower's ankle doesn't respond well to the 30-minute hitout at Visy Park.

Luckless onballer Brock McLean did not take part in the session due to an ongoing ankle issue and will play in the VFL at the weekend.

Luckless is right!

Sounds like McLean and Houlihan should be back by Round 3 though along with Jamo.

Still sounds like Laidler, Duigan & Curnow to me, with Watson in if Bower doesn't come up.

..handshakes' body issues is gonna be an ongoing problem.. ..has been on and off for years now, both at the dee's and now with us.. ..really need to try and get his body right, but also need to try and forget he's on the list in regards to structures and gameplans cos the likelihood of getting regular and consistent consecutive games out of him seems less likely the longer his body issues drag out for..

Crock McLean can't take a trick the poor bugger. He's played so little for us, I often forget to factor him in at all when I think about the side.

But this week looks like a nice test of our depth. Will be interesting to see how well we can go if we're missing a few key players. Murph would be a big loss, as would Bower.

Good stuff, not that he was ever in doubt anyway. Typical BF anxiety/stirring.

Why is there no team announcement - so Hutchy can claim it as "an exclusive" on the The Footy Show??

Just had a thought.

Has Subway sponsored the Sub yet?

Might have a word to Andy D. Could be some moolah in it for me.
