Very ordinary night thus far.
Right before the first bounce with the handshake business. Arrogance at its best from McLean, and before anyone jumps down my throat about "Oh but he's just so focused" consider sportsmanship...it costs nothing.

Skills have been very ordinary, plenty of players dropping marks that they must take, not hitting targets, and basic skill errors. The forward line just looks too congested, what we need is wide open spaces. Should be Kreuzer and Henderson FF/CHF, everybody else out.

Hoping for some improvement. It's only the NAB Cup, and it's just a matter of getting the cobwebs out in a new look team.

Now you know why I was saying that we will finish outside the 8.

There were some very over optimistic people that thought that in terms if team dynamics - replacing Fevola's goalkicking power would be a turnkey operation.

They assumed that the personnel were already there or else it was a matter of a bit of training to get them to be forwards.

big mistake to think that..

Hey..there's a lot of work to be done, that's obvious. But every year fans get excited or dejected about their teams NAB Cup performances, only to see it turn around by years end.

I'm just glad that footy is finally back!

I'm not knocking your opinion...everyone's entitled to have one, but you can't make judgements about a whole season ahead, based on one NAB Cup game where it will always be tough to adapt to a new game style.
