I think fev will always be a dick when he drinks, im not saying that what he did is ok, its not, but geez, lets just move on.
Fev gets pissed, is a bit of a dick drunk, embarrasses himself and he wont be invited back to next years brownlow. End of story.
He is far better then the following:
* Didak in car with bikies with bullets shot
* Heath shaw/didak crash a car drunk.
* St Kilda players accused of rape.
* Collingwood player caught drink driving - lose TAC sponsorship
* Wayne Carey sleeping with another players wife
* Buddy Franklin in fight over the weekend in Perth.
*Tarrant in fights
* Ben Cousins doing drugs.
* Michael Jordan having an affair with 6 women
* Charles Barkley spitting on a girl in the crowd of a NBA game.
There are a lot more.

Incorrect - the CFC players are very highly paid members of an industry which relies on the footy going public, the corporate world and the television networks to fund it. Given the success of the industry, the players will be front and centre in the public eye like it or not. if you don't like it don't sign a contract - simple. There are 40,000 members of the CFC (and countless other supporters) who have expectations as to the behavior of those that are given the HONOUR to wear the CFC. When you damage the CFC brand you damage all elements of the club - the brand, the professionalism, the reputation and ultimately the on field performance.
As for your list ... i think Fev's antics (Stole clothes from a laundramat, put a barman in a headlock in Ireland sent home from Australian team, urinated on a shop window in public five days before the first game of the season etc etc) are very comparable with your list and ...

Yes - and look what's happened to that club since...lost spiritual leader (Cousins) lost best ever player (Judd) and struggling at the bottom of the table...And if it's true that Gibbs g'friend was in tears then that's problematic. Remember what happened with one A Hammill. All it took was a few ill chosen comments from John Elliot and we lost a great player. I'm not saying Bryce is going to return to SA cause his gfriend got upset, but sometimes when something's on your mind it doesn't take much to tip your decision one way or another.
It's 2009 - to all those that say all he did was get a bit drunk etc you're not seeing the big picture. If your club aint professional then you won't win the big one - simple as that. And the club IS the players. No more excuses cause he's just a bloke having some fun. If it was Swan, Icke or Ratten doing the same thing would you be so forgiving - of course not.
Yea your right, lets sack him for being drunk and being a tool. Cant have tools at the club. But, when we are outside the 8 next couple years and no chance of winning the finals you can be proud that we have a professional group.
And by the way, Gibbs GF crying could be unrelated to Fev. Ever thought Gibbs chatted to another girl and she cracked it and started crying? But blame that on fev too.
