Yep agree with you tap in 79 that Stevens should be back in the side now.

In's:
Setanta
Jamison
Walker
Hadley
Stevens
Cloke

Out's:
Johnson
Bentley
Yarran
Hartlett
Grigg
Fisher

I don't think they;ll necessarily drop Bentley.

Out - Johnson, Hartlett, Yarran, ??Grigg
In - Setanta, jamison, Walker and Stevens

AFAIC, Grigg needs to develop his game substantially. He has a good awareness of how to win the ball but his ability to assist a team mate in a better position is virtually non existent. If he has to go back to the Bullants to do it, big deal.

I agree. I find him to be playing one way at the moment. His defensive pressure is zilch. His physical pressure on a contest is non existent. He disguises it by winning a lot of ball. I think he can be a good player but he is definitely a "work in progress". I hope it his injuries that have stymied him and not our development programme.

Perhaps he's learning from our senior players

If Yarran is out then Garlett surely has to come back in to the side in my opinion.

I prefer to leave them both out.

Fixed.

Still feel good about those changes. Grigg does need a rocket though.

Good question. Who did we elevate for Waite and who did we elevate after round 11 that the afl allowed each club to do? Bentley is still on the senior list so i think there should only be one more.

Grigg has got away with far too much for far too long.

Other than his 2nd game back he has been largely ineffective.

In fact, the reason I have Armfield ahead of Grigg is whilst they are both avearge kickes on their preferred foot, at least Armfield has something to offer on his other side, has a defensive game and takes on the game.

Grigg of late has been a lost puppy with a lot of huff and puff.

Do I think Grigg can make our 22 in our flag team? Yep!

But for now, he is so overated on TC it's kind of strange to watch him and try and find positives to rate him myself.

He need a rest in the twos and instructed by those who know how to develop players on areas he has to work on.

One of those is still free and available.

I think Grigg needs to throw his weight around.

I think Grigg needs to go in and win his own ball.

Grigg needs to intimidate.

Even if he cops a few weeks.

Grigg?

Strong overhead, quick off the mark, good kick for goal, not a superb long kick but can kick to a lead.

Ticks a lot of boxes for mine. It's just a shame he doesn't deliver the ball better from deeper in midfield. Body of a game-breaking hard nut, plays like a winger/hff.
