The Way this deal was portrayed as over the line from the beginning was laughable. SOme people involved in the deal were not too impressed that our president let it out the way he did. Not saying that was why, or if, it didnt come through. But this was always going to be a long shot from what i hear.

I do remember having a beer with one of the investors, can't remember his name but he is one of the owners of my favourite bars in Melbourne..........'Transport' bar (top bar for anybody who hasn't been there!).

When i spoke to him, he did mention that Pratt announced it WAY too early and can't understand why?
I also heard for a while that the place accross the road from Southern Cross station was gonna be part deal too.

He told me that if all goes well, it should be confirmed by next week and i remember him telling me to look in Thursday's Herald Sun!........................................That was in July!

Oh well..............he did buy me a beer so at least i got something out of it!
