Agree, he should not be used in the FB line, as with AW, that takes them out of the main play and restricts their ability to impact the game.

every week....he's improving by 4.3%........but not going

betterrrr.........!

so he's played 9 games now......which means i've got
him at about 38.7%...............!

SO.......if he plays 22 games this year......?

we STILL won't see that 100%............it'd be around 94.6%.......
so come the 2nd round next year........?

BAM.......we're going for 103.TWO%.............!

that's some good % right there.............!

i'm sure Jarr can organise the equation...............!

HUH................?

dearest tommeye

it is RSN - rising star nomination

nor RPN - rising percentage nomination (or rapid play narkling in your case)

A number 1 draft pick getting an NRS nomination.
Who would have imagined that!

I'm sure Bryce deserved his nomination because he is the best nominee this week.

Well done Bryce.

How surprising that you would miss the point

No.

The point is that Bryce Gibbs has been nominated for the Rising Star award.
Everything doesnt have to come back to the Pagan crap/Pagan good debate.

Cant we just celebrate the nomination without cheap shots about Pagans worth?

Of course that's not the point of your original post, as well you know. But typical of you to slither around to try to find another point when called out and disingenuously claim that the new point was the original one. If you didn't want to see anything further posted regarding that quote, you could have:
* said so in your original post without engaging in the debate you now say you don't think is appropriate; or
* done nothing and just let sleeping dogs lie.

But of course you couldn't help yourself. Let's see if you have the ability to do what you say and leave it alone from now on.

Any chance that people could argue the point at hand, rather than carry over previous grievances into current threads?

It's like the Balkans in here sometimes... :?

Couldn't give a toss whether he wins the thing or not - after all - this thing is now the RON EVANS Medal. What a disgrace...it would have had far more appeal by calling it the 'Slug Jordan' Medal...but Ron Evans?

Still - Bryce has a NAB Rising Star nomination and that is well deserved...I lost count saying 'Good Boy' on Sunday...any others feel a little older going to the footy these days and saying things like 'Good Boy Bryce'...?

YES.

When Harvey retires every player in the AFL will be younger than I am, then I will feel really old. Looks like you still have a few players to go.

I'm afraid lawn bowls beckons mate!! :-D

In all seriousness though, I do a lot of running and find my peers (I am 35) are generally at least my age but mainly older. Little easier on the body than AFL too! Have a think about it.

Michael Horan - Wanker of the Week

Michael, if you are going to research when a player debuted, maybe not look at the Carlton website for your source.
