Why bother delisting then?

I could be completely wrong, but i see it as us intending on using 4 picks in the draft, or 3 & a free agent signing, and will re-sign Collins to the rookie list after that. The reason we would have chosen Collins over a player like Joseph or Davies is that he may be more likely to get picked up as a free agent himself, which would create the list space and relieve cap space.. Could have it totally wrong tho..

Its good to have options up our sleeve. If someone superior doesnt eventuate, Collins may get another opportunity.

Thank goodness we have given ourselves an option for someone superior (if they are there)...I'm not a big Collins fan...just can't see where he fits in TBH. Too light, with some tricks, OK engine, but a bit slow for mine.
